Not a typical Aim Board22 Dec 2025 18:53
I do think that this Board of Directors are a bit above the typical Aim board. Clearly the SP has behaved exactly like the average Aim share and is at historic lows sp so the SP itself is unnerving. The Board have done plenty right too though, in my opinion.
Their share options are aligned to shareholder value, at 40-65p plus from memory, when the SP at the time they were announced was 18p odd. Most Bods choose the lowest SP to benchmark future options, but not these guys. A number of them have also bought in reasonable amounts when they could (closed period currently) They would likely load up now at this level if they could but they are trying to avoid any perception of profiting at the lows (and are in a closed period anyway, pending financials next week)
A non exec bought at 69p a share this year, so clearly thought that was not pie in the sky.
So, a number of positives for me but obviously the sp, particularly at this time of the year, is depressing. Every year it seems like I have one of these around this time but I have a number like this currently. Not great, but ah well, and others have it far worse than me in the world.
