Thanks. I still think there is money to be made here. Getting back in now in my opinion is not a silly move, for reasons i stated a few posts ago. I had a look on bloomberg at the holding of ASOS and institutions are defo buying back in. The overhang on the stock has always been to do with smalll margins and this has now been removed with the long time shorter Gladstone capital management closing out.

I also think the amount of money being injected into the financial system is super bullish equities, despite the high levels of unemployment etc. I actually this this could surpass 4000p over the next 12 months.

Bought today at 1164p to hold for 24 months. I'm sure this will be a slow recovery, but that is fine.

But congrats to everyone making money today. 60+% is great!

This is a guess really and I'm not short here, but I think high unemployment and reduced spending will continue to be a theme in Q3, so many retailers will have used up a lot of cash reserves up until now, so unless we see a solid recovery and strong reverseal in spending, then I think retails and shopping centres will struggle.

I think the problems will come in the next quarter.

Hopefully (and unlikely) some shorts choose today to close, keep the price from tanking.

Deutsche Bank increased their holding by 2,744,746 shares yesterday doubling the size of their position to 5,339,256 to 0.38%.

Apart from that doesn't look like there has been much buying or selling from institutions of late. HL and ii have been buying so there continues to be retail investors interested.

Credit Suisse doubled their position on 11th May to 14,543,925 shares which equates to 1.03%. Most the selling appear to be institutions taking profit or switching into other sectors they think will outperform

Agreed its trading very weirdly. I think until we manage to sell more assets or raise cash we are going to be stuck here.

I guess if CNOOC came in then maybe there could have been a bidding war? I think the fact they didn't shouldn't have any effect on the price.

Tullow is up becausethe market is up, no other reason.

They would create more shares in circulation which in-turn would make them worth less.
