A poster on another forum has suggested that this is linked to Blackrock and Wellington reducing their short positions. They pointed out Norges banks indirect holdings have decreased but their direct holding increased by 61%, which indicates they probably took up the open offer in full.

Learning, you are being a bit immature. Why goad people, there is nothing to gain from it. There is also nothing to gain from gloating about your returns either. The thread is meant for exchange information on N.brown, as many have said before, lets try and stay on topic. Repeating your entry, exit and profit (never loss) I would say, is not useful.

Yes I have received shares following the open offer. I used interacrive investor. I applied for 7x my original allocation and got all of them.

I'll certainly be tucking into the vino from midday. :)

I think today was more shorts closing. BlackRock reduced today.

Yes that would make sense.

I applied for a pretty large volume of shares above my current holding, so it's a little frustrating seeing the share price rise as I assume people are buying up any additional shares that they didn't get allocated.

I guess they would have to issue TR1 if their holding changed? According to bloomberg they hold 11.8%. I also noticed Blackrock and welling reduced their shorts again.

But as we have established, this short term stuff is noise.

Not that I want to get into this argument, but to lower the price you just need to sell a large volume of shares.
