Today is an example why you don't sell. It does nothing for weeks then moves 10%+ in a day.
It takes a while to turn a company around this stuff doesn't happen overnight. . .
PE isn't on 12x after the new share issue.
Agreed. These short attacks are certainly getting very tedious. What I find surprising is that someone is willing to short at current levels when institutions were willing to part with their money on a open offer at 57p implying that the minimum they think the company is worth is that level. Where does this new fund think they can push the price down to. Doesn't make any sense to me...
I'm hoping patience is the key with this one. Although I must admit it's frustrating seeing it not do much.
Another of the weak have fallen :)
I just meant it's difficult to get out of big positions due to liquidity, so I think they are related. Not in a and way, just an observation really.

Blackrock made a big reduction. But another fun has started shorting called merian.
ASOS was a lockdown stock. You want to be long stuff like SAGA, TUI etc... ones that are still trading at big discounts, which will likely see profits rise again. Lots of old people are getting vaccinated and going on holiday, hence SAGA moving up.
In my opinion this could trade back down to below 4000 as we move away from lockdowns.
ASOS did well during lockdown due to low returns as people switched to sportswear. As we move out of lockdowns that behaviour will change back to buying clothes to go out, which results in higher returns and affects their EBIT margin. Whilst there might be some that now just shop online, when everything opens back up, people will have more choice an therefore more competition for the company.
He just looks at the chart and says it mean reverts I think, but could be wrong.
lol currencytrader dont temp fate... !
You need to take a look at enterprise value.
This is retail investors bailing
Why would they sell when the fundraise only just happened.
It was just profit taking. No biggie.
drivel
It's had no topline growth for four years. If this improves even slightly then the market will continue to re-price the stock. It's still cheap on valuation Vs its peers.
