It doesn’t seem in itself to imply using systems to live mine test at scale (just that it’s compatible) but it could be the first step to that. This would be huge as in my view it is the only way to prove the methods work as claimed. It won’t be anytime soon but at last there does seem a possible and credible path to either validating or debunking the claims once and for all.

Er…because there was absolutely no mention of them despite the big build-up but instead there was a specific mention of the latest results from lab tests. I think there is only one sensible conclusion.

It is good there is an update and that they have confirmed meetings took place but they do not seem very close to a deal at all. First follow-ups, then possible NDAs, then data sharing (which they were previously against) and third party systems testing. Only after all that might there be a deal for a product - if all goes well.

Bit underwhelming is my view but it is only my view. If others want to get excited by it then that is their is prerogative and I certainly won’t complain if that excitement lifts the share price.

No live demos then in Florida either it seems but at least they confirmed that meetings took place which is good. Not sure if there is enough meat in the update to move the sp that much though but you never know…

I only said 'if' as I didn't know myself offhand and hadn't checked back. Glad you seem to agree auditors won't be doing any independent valuations, though if you always thought that not sure why you were talking about independent auditors vs company auditors at all. Bizarre.

I would imagine valuations of some kind are taking place and certainly they will want to have their own view. How detailed they are and how much independent involvement there might be is another matter. It shouldn't take long though for their type of business. It's a relatively simple task as far as calculations go and it is more about getting the assumptions set/agreed.

I don't give out abuse - at least nowhere near the level you do on a regularly basis. Just not my style. I may disagree strongly with posters but I won't descend to playground insults like you. True Steve but there is a big difference between a typo and inventing something out of thin air like live demonstrations. That had to come from QBT.

I would have thought QBT wrote it for them and why on earth would the organisers come up with a quote about live demos if this wasn't intended and discussed with them - a bit random don't you think? Also this link was also posted on QBT's X account so they could easily have pointed out any misunderstanding there. They said they were ready for live demos in a PRN BEFORE Nashville, the blurb for the conference said live demos were planned and yet you still try to squirm out of it? Priceless. I think your credibility is totally shot now - if it wasn't already.

He did but whilst independent auditors might check BOO's own valuation they would not do it themselves (and certainly if BOO did an internal valuation it wouldn't be the company auditors doing it). If KPMG did do the valuation on PLT it wouldn't have been their audit arm doing it.

I actually thing that's is a very reasonable post Dooogle even though I disagree with your conclusion and I don't think that it would need a PRN to say that meetings or demos took place. However, that's just a difference of opinion and I don't think what you say is misleading - it's just your interpretation.

But changing the name makes no difference to the PE ratio, any multiple applied and arguably no difference at all to the sp especially as both the branding and the ticker are still changing anyway. It's very much a cosmetic thing though I agree not voting for the change just appears to be agitating for little reason (other than just because he could affect the outcome).

There is a big difference between being incorrect and lying. My memory is that they did talk about doing live demonstrations ahead of Nashville and certainly a lot of people on this board expected them to do them there. If that assumption was not correct (I still don’t know if it is or not) then of course I’d be sorry for getting it wrong but I was not lying.

Just as it is a mistake to assume one to one live demonstrations have definitely taken place on method A and on method C. That was their intention but all we know for sure so far is that they turned up to the conference and to me it is odd that there has of yet been no confirmation that any demonstrations, or even meetings, actually took place. I wouldn’t expect details so soon but would have had expected some general feedback already saying that they did take place at least.

As to not being very bright my academic and professional qualifications would suggest otherwise but I admit those are not the only measures of ‘brightness’ and it’s more of a subjective thing. As such you certainly don’t have any ‘irrefutable’ evidence just your opinion which of course you are entitled too. Just as I am entitled to believe that you are not very bright.

Everybody can choose for themselves what to ignore. Maybe QBT’s time is coming maybe not. A lot may have already happened this year but as always none of the important stuff has been verified in any way.

Yes, that's really showing up in the share price isn't it? Every time they promise something and don't deliver it weakens their position - hence the undeniable downward trend in sp. Hopefully though there's still a spike or two left to take advantage of for me and all the other 'genuine holders'.

I agree Will. Personally I think if there were any concrete outcomes from the demonstrations it would take some time (weeks at least) to communicate them but it would be good to have it confirmed much sooner (i.e now) whether or not the demonstrations did actually take place. I can’t see what would prevent that being communicated on X or wherever?
