…but that’s a very biased opinion isn’t it? You’d expect a CEO to talk up the value of his business but the profits and growth prospects simply aren’t anywhere near enough to justify such a valuation in my view. Clearly the market agrees otherwise BOO as a whole would be valued much higher than it is.

KK - I think you keep trying too hard to make out how clever you are and how stupid anybody who disagrees with you is. That's generally a pretty good sign that somebody isn't half as bright as they think they are (indeed the very D-K effect you mention)! People can make their own minds up about others - you don't need to decide for them and keep shoving it down their throats.

It's also odd that you keep talking on here about someone who is on another platform. Surely if you have a beef with them then it would be better to go and have it out with them on ADVFN? Why should any of us here be interested? And why make up stuff about people's lives and how they got to be that way? Again, what makes you such an expert and who cares anyway? Just seems arrogant and childish.

It’s just odd they didn’t give a mention though and focused on a ‘consensus’ figure which could mean anything in terms of FY guidance. Does being ahead of that consensus figure mean they are ahead on guidance, on track or is it in doubt?

Sorry, but I feel this update was as slippery as BOO’s have been of late - picking and choosing what they focus on, changing what they compare against and avoiding mention of guidance.

All should be clearer though when they report fully at half year.

All the ASOS update really says basically is that it is ahead of consensus for adjusted EBITDA which doesn't really justifying crowing so much about as it is only a paltry £34m - which translates to a sizeable loss overall.

If this is ASOS being 'back' then it may be have been better to stay away.

By all means gloat when ASOS is actually making money again or when the sp is more than a tiny fraction of what it used to be but at the moment comparing ASOS to BOO hardly puts it on a pedestal. They are both in a huge mess still.

Yes, and unlike here am in profit (especially after today). But both are struggling big time in a sector that is struggling (broken?) and difficult to see a way out for either of them at the moment without something radical happening. The current share price of each reflects that though (even after today) so still possible profits to be had but I want out on both so hoping for some takeover activity to take advantage of. Otherwise I'll dump ASOS if this uplift continues a bit more and hang on to BOO to try to at least get my money back.

Good to see ASOS beating guidance and starting it seems to turn things around - and today's uplift in sp is certainly very welcome.

Fact remains though that both ASOS and BOO are still seeing steeply falling revenue and experiencing thumping losses so a long way to go for both companies. In addition ASOS margins are still (probably) thinner than BOO and they are only commenting on adjusted EBITDA - will be interesting to see what the unadjusted numbers are and if they have any more big negatives they are adjusting for.

So, a good day for ASOS but, like BOO, they need many, many more of them.

If this relates to Method C (with B they are not ready to do live demonstrations) then the market isn't '100s' it is much less as it is the chip manufacturers - and there are not that many of those. So 1 to 1s do make sense in that respect though it is odd the claimed response from CTW mentioned 'customers' as they will not be customers but partners which is something very different.

It does all seems a bit odd though but whatever the case the results of any such meetings, however they take place and whoever they are with, are the most important thing and that has been what has been missing so far. So let's see if anything does come out of all this, this time...

If method B worked then QBT would have more than enough money and besides it doesn't change the fact that method B would not be beneficial if sold to everybody so there would still be a big enough market for other products (including method C) for potential partners to be interested in. That's assuming B and C can't work together anyway - which I don't know.

Technically you are right though.

Method B is claimed to increase mining rate by 160%, not 250% - and Method A I thought was 10%.

Can still see a market for both B and C as even though B is potentially much more effective if all miners had method B then nobody benefits at all so would expect B to be sold under some kind of exclusivity deal which still leaves a market for C.

I would still be surprised if it was less than £1 so will go for option C - though good chance it would be higher. It depends crucially whether Method B delivers fully as claimed and plenty of other assumptions, notably how much of the market it is sold to and how much of the additional revenue generated by it goes to QBT. I've assumed 10% for both which I think is conservative for each.

Again Dooogle - they only said it was their ‘intention’ so they have left themselves wriggle room which it looks they are making use of.

I think they probably are going to attend but as of yet there are no signs at all that they are doing any live demonstrations.

So they are saying, officially, that they are ready now - so that can’t be an excuse for not demonstrating this time.

They said it was their ‘intention’ to demonstrate. Just like it was at Nashville - but they didn’t.

You’ll have to ask KK that question as he claims to know the answer and I’m sure he’ll be only too keen to share the evidence for it.

If you didn’t find out about it from him then how did you know about the behind closed doors demonstrations?

I’ve said plenty of positive things about QBT - including today where I said that if their tech works the share price will reach 10p easily - and then stay there (not a spike).

From what you said though it seems that you don’t believe either that it does work and like me you are only here for the spikes.

So it was Christian who told you about the behind doors presentation? Surely he would be breaking a few rules doing that? More likely I think that it was just another fluff theory from you.
