I never said you were not invested but you ARE barely invested as you said you sold all but 20,000 shares because you had lost faith in the company and yet you attack others that you say are ‘barely invested’ and who have no faith in the company.

Fair enough FED but those are things of Christmas Yet to Come not of Present or Past. They may not sell PLT at all and even if they do the benefit is unlikely in my view to make the balance sheet 'much stronger' than ASOS's. All it will do is give them a bit more breathing space (if any at all) - same with Burnley.

As it stands now the balance sheet at BOO is weaker than ASOS, as the numbers clearly show, and any view based on what might happen to those assets in the future and their value, and hence the balance sheet, is just speculation.

No, it's not. Just more empty, unsubstantiated claims from QBT. Can you provide a single, actual quote from any market player? Can you explain how FG said they had spoken to everybody of any importance that they wanted to after the last set of conferences only to now say they are trying to speak to more? And how come they were so close after those last conferences (NDAs, the 'after summer' quote and everything else) but are seemingly no nearer at all?

With any penny share company on AIM there has to be a certain leap of faith but after more than five years (and 20 years in different incarnations before thar) QBT have produced absolutely nothing tangible to reward that faith - just their own words on 'progress' with nothing to back them up and promises (mining of bitcoin, revenue by end 2024 etc.) that are not delivered upon. So it's no surprise the number of devotees keeps shrinking and the spikes on the graph get ever smaller. But you keep on cheering to the end, it's your call and if by some miracle they do actually sign a deal then please feel free to gloat.

I agree with a lot of what you say FED but not with your view that BOO has a much stronger balance sheet than ASOS. They have less debt for sure, but also a lot less by way of assets and the weakness of their balance sheet was no doubt a major factor in the very poor terms they got for their latest financing (and the fire sale of assets).

I too am in both ASOS and BOO and neither have proved great investments but with ASOS at least I'm in the black (not 50% down) and I have more confidence about their recovery than BOO's (though that's not saying much as I fear both are simply just scrapping away in a struggling sector).

Any cost savings are not in addition to the 3% (or whatever) they are part of it.

It's your money MrH to do with as you please, though it's a shame you couldn't provide any examples of the feedback you claimed existed. If it did exist then I would happily take it too over any opinions on a forum. With nothing concrete at all to substantiate any of their claims though (market feedback, data, mining achievements, deals, revenue etc. - only a string of unfulfilled promises, cash raises and thumping losses) all we have are our opinions so they will have to do and naturally different people have different ones which is fair enough - however daft they seem.

I only have 300,000 shares here and was hoping to get rid of most/all of those on the next decent spike but the RNS couldn't deliver that. Looks like I'll just have to wait for the next visit from the pump and dump crew. I certainly won't be holding my breath for any actual deal or genuinely ground breaking RNS. But you hope and wait all you like and let me know how that works out for you.

Perhaps you can provide examples of this 'outstanding feedback' as I haven't seen any? And by feedback I am referring to actual feedback from mid-market miners not what QBT said themselves.

The 3% you mention in the interview was for method A not method B and we have no proof that method B gives 'north of 10%' now, even if it is only temporary - or that it ever gave 160%.

Finally your point that "even 3% is game changing i.e can turn a miner not making a profit into a profit making miner" is just silly. You could say the same even if it was only 0.3% or 0.03% - the window just gets smaller that's all. The regular swings in BTC price have far greater impact on miner profitability than a 3% improvement (less the cut QBT would take). In other words 3% is better than nothing but in the grand scheme of things it won't make or break any miner especially as those sorts of level of improvement exist already and will certainly not lead to 'massive' income.

You seem to be one of the few remaining that still has faith in what FG says and accepts each unfilled promise and downgraded expectation with unwavering belief whilst other finally give up the ghost (Koolkat and OSD being a couple of the latest). That's your choice but the subdued market reaction to the latest 'breakthrough' shows that you are in a dwindling minority. As AWL said, even an orchestrated pump and dump gave a bigger spike than this latest can-kicking RNS. Like the others, I'm sure you'll see the light eventually and hopefully for your sake it is before they are finally turned off.

Seriously? Method A went from 10% improvement to 3%, Method B went from 160% to ‘north of 10%’ and Method C has now gone from 30% to 10%.

Even if any of the methods actually work (still no evidence yet) none of them are now capable of generating ‘massive’ income but only ‘modest’ income at best.

The latest can kick though just shows that there is still an awful lot of potential road for it to travel down before there is any income at all. They have simply done what they always do - give some waffle as to why things have not gone as quickly as expected but with the new improved version that this time we really are nearly there - honest guv. The next update will follow a similar pattern, and the one after that, and the one after that…

Each ‘breakthrough’ update though seems to the move the dial less than the one before so perhaps the road is finally running out?

Never mind. Hopefully the ASOS results will give us an inkling of what to expect when BOO finally release their interims and may also give us more details on the loan so we can judge just how desperate, or not, BOO’s sky-high interest rate looks in comparison.

Really tricky as it is so dependent on any one-offs which have been huge lately. Without any one-offs then would expect a relatively small loss (anything up to £30m perhaps) but suspect there’ll be more ‘surprises’ that push it more towards £100m but hopefully they can keep it below £50m.

I’ll be optimistic and say a loss before tax (including PLT) of £35m.

I say this as a long-term investor who (from what Mr 2% has himself claimed) has more invested here than Bfd. Indeed he bored me so much with his tiresome arguments and misleading posts that I filtered him.

I remember a couple of posters latching on to a word/phrase said in the presentation and believing it meant a deal was imminent despite every other clue suggesting it was at best an embryonic idea and at worst just a smokescreen. It's amazing how blind faith can make people clutch at straws like that - and comparing PLT to Topshop.
