Reardon - Although it may have a short-term impact on sp and have MA, and maybe others, rubbing their hands with glee I can't see it being a big deal unless their cash flow has got seriously worse. If they can start to improve the performance then everything will be rosy regardless and this is just yet another annoying hiccup on the way. If they can't then they are doomed anyway, just a little bit sooner.

In my view it's not a "revenue generator" as such but that's just my interpretation but if you have a different view fair enough - I'm not going to waste time trying to change your mind or anybody else's especially as it's not the important question. The important question is whether they reap a net benefit from the change or not and that nobody knows (not even BOO can be sure of that - and if they are then they are idiots for not doing it sooner).

Could be argued both ways (and has been). It will either go through the revenue line as an addition to these or through the cost line as a reduction in those - I don't know which and don't care. What really matters is whether the impact overall will be positive or negative and that of course is unknown.

I do legs. I admit I'm not positive towards QBT but the likes of Jambone and Suthy give a bad name to those that are. They also probably do more harm than good for the share with their brand of posting though in truth I don't think anything said on this board has much impact one way or the other.

Yes Aim, it's just ridiculous to talk about needing to 30-bag to catch up to non-existent or inappropriate peers. I pointed this out to him when he suggested it before and I think that's when he supposedly filtered me (he doesn't like to be challenged in any way). His desperation seems to be in overdrive today. As you say though I don't think many people are taking much notice of him apart from a few die-hard supporters of his.

There are some positive posters on this board that argue their case far better than him and in the end could well be proved right of course - and become very rich in the process. I hope so as I've retained my holding - though for a spike now rather than the deal which would send the sp sky high if the believers are proved right. They are much more worth listening to and don't try to silence any differing view or ram their own down people's throats. Suthy is just a relentless ramper who gets abusive and frequently trips himself up anyway with his own arguments. See also Jambone.

Vinanz from the looks of it are just over-clocking their own machines which I think many miners do (including MARA I believe). Not sure why it warranted an RNS and it is completely different to what QBT say they have done/are doing - whether you believe them or not. Others of course may be trying to do a similar thing but they are are hardly likely to say so until they have succeeded and can demonstrate it.

I also said I'd comment when anybody says anything particularly silly and the utter garbage on these boards spoken by ignorant people blaming MMs for 'holding the price down', being 'after your shares' or engaging in 'pure manipulation' generally whenever an sp isn't going up is perhaps the silliest of the lot. Never any logic or evidence given just desperate herd-like utterances of desperate rampers who try to show how they know how the market works but haven't actually got a clue. I feel a 'tree shake' remark coming on - the favourite piece of jargon from such types.

I'm not saying manipulation never happens but it's always the lazy excuse that is trotted out.
