I think you are confusing them with realistic posters who clearly know a lot more than you do.

ARB will rise as BTC rises but as a company it's got 6-12 months left unless BTC rises really, really fast. Don't trust me though, just look at the poor financials for yourself and consider the further impact that halving will have on them if BTC stays much below $100k.

That's why I said sort of true. Yes, it should (on the same measure) be better than Revb but (unadjusted) EBITDA is likely to be less than £11m and probably negative.

Sort of true Bfd but BOO were talking about 'adjusted' EBITDA. I think it very likely that plain old EBITDA (without adjustments including share based compensation like those announced today) will be below £11m (again).

And QBT over 70% down from its recent peak. If you're going to gloat about other people's stocks it carries more weight from the top of your own hill, not from the bottom.

It survived last year because it sold Helios, it's flagship asset, at a knockdown price (along with lots of spanking new machines (for peanuts). It can't sell Helios again and has no other significant assets that aren't already mortgaged or have other loans secured on them. If Argo had nine lives then it's used eight. The only one it has left is a meteoric rise in BTC.

Agree CB that if BTC goes over $50k then sentiment will change and ARB sp will likely go up very nicely. Even if the sp is performing in the short-term though it won't mean Argo itself will be in an enviable position as was asserted. They need way more than $50k post-halving to remain viable for any significant length of time (i.e. years rather than just months). As you say, that's not being negative or pessimistic - it's just the way it is and anybody with a basic understanding of the company and of the dynamics of the industry they are in will appreciate that. If not then they are in for a pretty rude awakening and probably well before Christmas (unless BTC goes ballistic).

Whatever position Argo find themselves in I doubt if anybody (particularly US miners) will be envious of it. What would anybody be envious of? Even at $50k BTC they are loss-making. Post-halving they will be loss-making even if it $100k. They could grow themselves out of trouble but they simply don't have the funds to do that or any likelihood of obtaining them through loans or equity raises. They are stuck in a corner with seemingly no way out bar an absolutely sky high BTC or a fairy godmother.

Why? I’m inclined to believe the reply already posted by Pip and I couldn’t care less one way or other about the videos. I think they did more harm than good anyway. I was just replying to someone who asked about the videos stopping and what it could mean - thought it might be helpful. My mind is at peace on the videos and will just wait for official news instead.

Here's the post in question - make your own minds up as to the validity of it but it's a bit of a coincidence that there have been no more videos since (almost two weeks ago now):

Hello everyone, I've been invested here for a long time, and see the constant arguments a bickering back on forth and have to say its boring and a bit embarrassing. The most recent is around the new video so I emailed qbt about it and how it's caused confusion and they seem to be damaging. This is a segment of the reply I got(they replied in u der an hr).

"Primarily, these videos were created to spread the word of what QBT is doing to the wider global market – more with possible end-users in mind, rather than shareholders. What we didn’t anticipate is every shareholder would interrogate each and every 30 second clip. So, I don’t think there will be any more now."

So seems they have seen what's going on and are just as unimpressed with it as all the of shareholders that keep quite in the background.

It does seem unlikely, unprofessional and self-defeating...but they have stopped. So just maybe it's true?

A poster (PIP...) recently emailed QBT about the videos and the confusion they were creating and the reply he got was along the lines that the videos were for promoting the business to third parties and not for shareholders to dissect. Therefore the company said they were going to stop releasing the videos. Whether the email and reply were genuine is open for debate but no videos have since been released so it does seem possible that this is the reason rather than imminent news...

Spot on @Alteredmind. I'm afraid though on this board there are several posters that immediately label you a troll if you don't toe the line and be super supportive - along with accusations of being a multi-id alias (just happened to me again - sigh). Just ignore the thin-skinned and insecure few.

It's not guaranteed to bounce - and probably needs positive news to do so again. No more videos it seems either to help (or hinder).

The price is dropping BECAUSE there is nothing. The rest of your post just doesn't make sense so hard to answer it sensibly.

It's been over eight months since Vlad flew out and NDA or no NDA there has been nothing at all concrete to suggest actual progression in these talks (aside from changing direction re SaaS). Until there is an RNS/PRN with an official update containing real substance I don't think any of us can be blamed for being somewhat sceptical. Imagine what you like but I'd rather stick with reality or at the very least an educated guess with more to go on. It is not a certainty that we are still in talks with anybody - let alone ten - so to claim we definitely are as a fact would be a false representation.

Sorry, I didn't twig there was a podcast attached as well. Regardless this is just the piece about Vlad going out and talking to miners and about miners giving QBT their rigs (which is now not the case). This was over eight months ago so to claim we are still actively in talks with 10 big miners is stretching it a hell of a lot. It could be 10 now or none at all. Do you have anything more recent?
