I always said they could be bought by a long list incl MS but as you know I sold out at 620. TB wasn’t in my long list. I’d be surprised if there was a counter bid now this late. Only hope of getting north of $7.75 is a rejection of the TB bid by IIs & PIs which would cause the SP to immediately fall to 500 and new bids come in but in all lightness I’d imagine they’ve got enough support to get this done. TB will either merge them with a US floated business or sell off in US I’d expect. Wish I’d put a stop loss buy on now darn it.

It goes on to say that surveys show extra confidence in May spending with inflation down and interest rates expected to drop in summer and signs of confidence returning so if this is truly a forward looking market it should be pretty neutral offsetting a poor April mainly down to weather
