Agreed. Same for builders. If you pay cash it’s up to them to declare VAT not you. As long is BOO paid their VAT, what their suppliers do is up to them. Same as employment laws it’s up to supplier to follow the law. The QC report I posted again a week ago shows all this VAT was known in the supply chain so nothing new but I got attacked for posting it but now it’s ok I see. Funny this board.

Looks like Boohoo are cleaning up everything including an auditor that didn’t audit properly.

Quite simply Boohoo is cleaning up its image since the report & part of that is sacking an auditor that has not done its job correctly - ie audit!

Just Boohoo changing their auditor & giving PwC and out.

As I said, was already a done deal. PwC how do you want to exit?

It doesn’t matter now as they openly said to the market, & via report, 6 months to fix by end of year results Mar 31st. IIs know it will take time & not an instant fix

I honestly don’t think a change of auditor is an issue

If an auditor finds issues then that’s an issue

But if the incumbent auditor had issues they would be reported & not seen a thing!

They are just appointing a new auditor - easy - no sweat - seen many drop PwC

Let’s see who they appoint now as PwC pretty overhyped & over paid - many more auditors out there - recon Grant Thornton will jump at this
