Was 433 before Covid hit the stock market which shows it was folks selling to buy travel & leisure which I think will retrace as too soon for vaccine & online is still killing high st pre & post covid

Many sold online stocks like BOO, ASOS & others like Peleton & Zoom thinking they are less growth with a vaccine vs Travel, Leisure & Entertainment stocks so folks sold to buy into IAG, EZJ, CCL, TUI, RR., RTN etc
Might be a little premature and think they forget the high street is dead & online is bombing pre Covid - I know a few, incl me, bought on the drop today. Net is vaccine still to be approved & 90% effective so will be spring before travel truly resumes & online will boom near Christmas & over lockdown that remains.

Two ‘monster’ growth stocks I’d buy NOW

One hot stock I’d buy today is Boohoo (LSE: BOO). It’s a fast-growing online fashion retailer that owns a number of popular brands including Boohoo, BoohooMAN, PrettyLittleThing, and Nasty Gal.

I think Boohoo could deliver blockbuster growth in the years ahead. Not only should it benefit from the accelerated shift to online shopping, but it should also benefit from the work-from-home trend. Its low prices should also appeal to consumers in the current economic environment. Analysts expect sales growth of more than 30% this year, which is very impressive when you consider the state of the UK economy at present.

Boohoo’s share price has pulled back recently. One reason for the pullback is that the company’s auditor, PwC, has said that it plans to step down in the near future. Some investors see this as a red flag.

Personally, I’m not too concerned about the auditor issue. This is because top level insiders at Boohoo including the Chairman and CFO have been buying shares recently. This indicates that they’re confident about the future (and expect the stock to rise). So, I see the recent share price weakness as a buying opportunity.

Boohoo shares currently trade on a forward-looking P/E ratio of about 28 using the earnings forecast for the year ending 28 February 2022. I think that’s a steal. At that valuation, I see this monster growth stock as a strong buy.

They downplayed the outlook for 20 somethings in their forecast due to higher anticipated unemployment in this age group. Once they do a Trading Update showing that the spending hasn’t decreased but in fact has grown like last lockdown it will bounce back. All independent professional forecasts state growth from here. Anything below 5000 is a great buy for mid-long gain. Only risk is if 20 somethings do stop spending but as I mentioned in another post, I asked a few late teen & 20 somethings working in a local pub who they prefer in online retail & would they still buy in lockdown with furlough - ASOS was their resounding choice & they still planned to spend. I’m glad ASOS played it down as gave a very nice entry point before the Institutional Investors move this back up.

Amazing they turned a profit to on dropped revenue - looks like they are getting the ship in order - be interesting too see how market takes these 2 news items

Just had a last lunchtime pub pre lockdown meal & decided to ask the late teen & twenty something servers if they prefer ASOS or Boohoo & immediately the answer was ASOS for better quality as Boohoo stuff was cheap & didn’t last. They thought Boohoo was for students & ASOS for everyone. I mentioned Boohoo buying high street brands to cater for wider audience but they all preferred ASOS. Very enlightening.

Moose I moved most of my Boohoo here but kept a small stake in Boo. I’m 80/20 on my ASOS/BOO split. Boo more growth potential but will take 6 months whereas ASOS very stable driven by institutional investors & making good cash now. When I speak to people most prefer the ASOS brand & app but Boo has a spot. And yes, much more civilised here.
