I've taken my time whilst trying to make sense of the recent Director share purchases and personally I've come to the conclusion they were absolutely ludicrous.

Firstly you have Scott, who memory serves has about 14.5m in share options, who has already shown his faith buying £91k's worth less than 6 months ago buying just over £5k's worth, despite doing a recent interview saying he couldn't be because he's in a close/blackout period. Then you have Chris, who I understand it has received all the financial offers to shore up the balance sheet, buying not a lot more than Scott, but also having 9 million share options. He must, in my opinion be in a close period due to the fact a financial deal simply must be completed I would guess if not now then next month.

So why did they make such insignificant purchases? Was Scott being disingenuous when saying he couldn't purchase or being disingenuous when saying they would shore up the balance sheet, which let's face it HAS to be done by June.

ANY Director purchase i have seen has always been viewed as a sign of confidence, except these. There was absolutely no point, no need, they are at best disruptive and confusing, at least in my mind.

As for the future despite what others say, I see real progress. Nothing has changed in my view. They will get non dilutive finance to shore up the balance sheet. They will sign the Exploitation Agreement and the IPA and they will continue to derisk Cascabel adding value at every milestone until an acceptable offer comes in, and we'll also get the strategic review detailing what non core assets will be divested, at least in my opinion.

BUT if the above does happen, I can't see any explanation as to why that wouldn't be deemed insider trading. Nothing makes sense as to why they would buy that pultry amount at this particular time. As for a code, really? Next you'll be telling me a purchase of 1 means an RNS is coming lol.

All I can do is wait for an explanation, maybe there's a good one that I'm unaware of??

There appears a real desperation in the posts from those that have shorted this stock, and rightly so lol.

Personally I'm grinning from ear to ear, I've NEVER been more comfortable with an investment. The mentally stable should hold and accumulate. GLA.

The trolls continue to try to make Equador a basket case sue to entering the Mexican embassy, yet seemingly unaware there's been over 30 countries that have experienced the same in the course of history and surprisingly the world didn't end. More importantly, if you actually know the whole story, it was Mexico in breach of international law in the first place by granting asylum to a convicted criminal. Unsurprising given the country is run by the drug cartels.

On more worthy news, it looks very much like Equador will strike a deal with fhe IMF in a months time and with Noboa already managing to reduce Equadors risk premium from 2,141 points to 1,265 points it's already opened up the countries access to debt markets. The future looks bright.

Eloro as the trades were only declared late last night I've no idea. If I were to guess I'd say they weren't just market shenanigans but more likely to be connected to a finance deal which is expected to bolster SOLGs balance sheet. Hopefully find out more next week when certain people are back in Quito, allegedly..I'm guessing. What a clown I am.

I said the PFS would be delivered on time, then added it'd be delayed a couple of days awaiting external consultants sign off, which is was. You called me a clown.

I said SOLG were going to PDAC when all others said they weren't, they went. You called me a clown.

I said they'd be high level meetings held, there were. You called me a clown.

Despite acting like a 3 year old on an almost daily basis, even you should know there's a difference between taking the trouble to know whats going on and inside information, which is illegal. Maybe people tick up my posts because they think I do, and maybe they try to ignore you because they see you as angry and bitter at Mather because you blame him for losing all your money, instead of blaming the person really responsible, you?

For me I suppose it was just lucky I'm constantly accurate with what's happening and constantly lucky all my buys for SOLG are in profit. Better guessing right than wrong I suppose.

HFM they can't do that. Once 3% is reached they would have to notify the company the next day and there's a further two days before the company have to inform the market. With those numbers you'd think we'll get a TR1 by Tuesday next week.

Red I mentioned £1 a while back. With Gold, Copper and Silver flying, inflation falling and Interest rates set to follow, a perfect storm for a bull market.

SOLGs balance sheet will be shored up with several hundred million dollars through the sale of non core assets in my opinion, leaving them more than enough to totally derisk Cascabel and prove up additional core assets.

The only question that will be outstanding is when the majors move for Cascabel as every milestone achieved adds more value to the asset. The Exploitation Agreement is next up sometime this quarter.

Once we're cash rich this could end up anywhere. Need a life jacket scoffed at my golden ticket comment but I think he'll be the clown for losing all his money on the Australian market and being too skint to invest here lol.

I do expect the strategic review to conclude with a sale of all non core assets. One would assume this would mean the divestment of all Cornerstone, Green Rock, Cruz del Sol, Carnegie Ridge and Valle Rico assets. There must be over 50 tenaments that have been bundled up and I have no idea how much they would be worth, but I'm guessing they are worth well in excess of the current Mcap? Not long to keep guessing as I think Chris will get it resolved this month. Less than 20 trading days!

Fort I dont think they'll just be selling Porvenir. My understanding is that they are taking out Cascabel and selling the rest of their Ecuadorian assets as a complete bundle, they won't sell anything as a single asset, apart from Cascabel.

Multiple NON DILUTIVE finance offers have already been received and SOLG are in the process of finalising the deal.

My understanding is that it'll certainly be done and dusted this month.

I would think the sell off is largely due to the individuals who loaded up last Thursday realising the individual who promised news today was lying. I think news is coming but in my opinion nothing has changed from my previous comment:

Blindfreddie it's a common tactic of those negative to a stock to fill a BB with nonsense and push any informative post onto the next page. The sad thing is that actual investors feel the need to bite and perpetuate the problem .

It is what it is. I just filter all that ignore SOLG and also all that respond to the constant crap that's posted. Luckily we're going to have a really exciting quarter so I'll refrain from posting until we've got some tangible news and the idiots disappear.
