I use this as a balance to boosts. The rule with all these boosted shares has to be if you know its going down you have to sell and buy back lower. This thrives on the unknown so selling as it turns down before US open and buying back just before the close can save oodles. There is nothing more unknown that what might change overnight (US time) or over the weekend, and if you have +ve US boosts they will normally make up for any losses.

And so after a premeditated mainipulation of markets and wobble of the NDX in response to Elon's bail out, the pattern returns as of now of the NDX outperforming the NDX outperforming the FTSE100. Just short FTSE100 and long NDX - massive long term gains. Boris and co sell off any growth companies that might make it big to the NDX in the first place... Go figure.

What I love is the way they got all the "experts" out on Tuesday evening saying Wednesday is always up before stuff the turkeys day and Friday is always flat and even ion the face of a new variant which was known about at the time, they shoved the ixic and 500 up on Wednesday so they could gap the wotsits off it today. Scumbag manipulators.

I read the fund description and I think it is the futures of the futures so not what the vix is now but what [people think the vix itself is going to be in a months time... Last time it had good results it tanked on the day and bounced hard threafter. It is a very solid business but it is played something rotten. One of the lowest spreads of the non doms (Glen is lower) so always bound to be traded hard.

The US will fight it hard because gold rising means dollar falling - against everything - so they will fight it - but the vix is up and I think that means they are weak.... Not March this time - think they will have to give up on Gold and let the dollar fall ... eventually.

Wonder if price of gas and consequencies thereof were the problem here... Any news snyone ? Chartist would say the Fib retracement is over and a significant rise should follow... Seems a bit optimistic to me but then I would have said a retracement to such levels would have been typical chart voodoo until it happened. Just for comparison everything else did badly today.

Faulkes - last 2 days usually the weely eak due to givernment bening better at counting have actually not been highest - clear evidence before lockdown ended of a fews days draatic fall implied herd imunity had arrived - ONS data says _90% of adults carrying antibodies.. My view - herd immunity was reached by social liberation has created the strnage situation where the fianl isolatd bait balls have been eposed - sharp drop in cases coming soon - unexpected - but then Boris's job tax has torpedoed us - especially in the eyes of US investors. In short, ovid not the issue here - only ineffective policy on economc growth - but even as US may fall - suspect UK will pay catch up soon, Theres a shock - stoically optmistic here.

Have to add I think the last small rise is not to do with oil price. There are a growing number of mid and large gaps going on a runner and I suspect this is joining the pack.

I agree the fall on China is overdone, and the pattern is a classic falling EW5, but the low trend price suppport is about $66 so maybe one more shakey day then back up we go. Oil production reportedly short until mid 2022 so no reason oil should not go back on the rise short term and therefore this should go up as well.
