Sorry been at work all day but back in as Goldman said buy the dips yesterday (waited untill this morning of course). I agree but market sentiment is against all things American at the moment. It's all about p/e and profit margin at the momnt. JMHO Netflix under pressure from Amazon prime - but both my favourite TV channels which says a hell of a lot about things have chnaged since BBC ruled the waves of the sea of quality (maybe 2-3 years ago).

To be fair it was a rller coaster that affectd the whole market - must remember to start looking out for these option closure dates - all manner of eil doings done - but if I'd realised, what a top up opportunity !! And - JMHO - a load of folks holding bullish CFDs in the stock is an amazing endorsement.

Well I just googled option closure dates and this end of week was missing - but then I drew down an options calendar from the intnet and it had tomorrow/today and tomorrow/Friday so maybe there are options to sell and people caught out by the evil fed man who need to cash out to cover liabilites - not the disaster of March 2020 but still - close your gold silver and bond shorts and your stock, oil and gas longs. Does seem to be the only thing making sense to me. Afterall if it was the vil Putin man driving this, surely gas would be going through the ceiling and poly through the floor. What do you think ?

Normally tomorrow would be a big options closing daybut none should be due because of the New Year. Just looked at the mayhm in the oil, gas, and stok markets ove rin the US and wondered.Yahoo listed articles say there is no one reason for this sell off (not even the obvious one about the evil Russians or Koreans - afterall look at poly !!). The flight to gold is the other noticeable and the selling of treasuries and the buying of altcoins. So everything that's been going up went down bigly and two things that were going down have gone up. Sounds like contract closing or hedging to me, If gold, coin and treasuries arebeing bought that is a flight to safe havens. Maybe this has affcted COPL which of course should have a lot of sensible investors bought into it. On the other hand maybe tit's a placing. We'll know in about 6 hours time. GLA.

Yes but misleading comments always annoy - every thing that breaks out of a range goes to an overbpught position and wobbles and ends up back a bit - I m just maintaining a constant £ level in here ofr the journey. Be interesting to see what happens after that - last time it wasn't much fun.

So if you look at 5 days charts on Google financ you will see the increase is exactly the same as the increase in London. We need Canada to finish about .72+ to be looking forward to tomorrow - ie maintain the momentum

US markets imploding

I've had a limit trade buy waiting to be fulfilled on this all day (at 203p) and its still sat there. I can't get a quote either. What does that tell you ??

Saw this tipped as a share for 2022 - and falling like a stone - like the look of the volatility. Wish I'd bought on the last dip. Volatility os always good for building a position.
