The timetable of what happens is controlled elsewhere. Things must be going on behind the scenes, Marina Darcol, possible sale of Canadian properties, prices unknown, etc. We can only wait. If someone is accumulating as many million of the free float as they can, over a period of time , then perhaps the price could go right down so there will be more sellers at the lower price.And I said if, it's just a guess. Who knows-but this must have been kept in business all these years, debt and all, for a good reason by the very rich people who control it. My personal opinion is to brace yourself for a lower price and to hold, but if it goes down to 0.5 that's a buying opportunity. But then WTFDIK? I'm just an ordinary punter. But I'm not selling at this price.

to put it into perspective, 6 trades, 600k sold and price down 14%. 600k shares is a tiny percentage of the total number of shares. If we have 600k of buys, is the price going up 14%? Or is there a big sell order in the background,, or perhaps more likely, a big buy order????

Yes, GCM taking off would be truly amazing - I wish that fantasy would come true, but I very much doubt it. Still, I suppose it's possible, we can dream...But the Govt of Bangladesh has got plenty of security problems on its hands at the moment and doesn't need massive environmental protests and small farmers rioting on top of that. Buys are going through and where are the sells? Is someone hoovering these up? There's still a risk, but most seem to be holding onto their shares, at least at this price.Does anyone on here know what's really going on?

As there are only 22m shares in public hands, and if your holding is typical, there are only 49 shareholders. Of course there must be a number with fewer shares, but there are probably quite a few with more. Just saying.

Apart from speculation, rumour and ramping, there's been no real change in news about this share since the Marina Dorcol announcement, and that was only about an approach rather than a solid offer. The longer we wait for real news, the lower this will go, IMVHO. The fact is, the most recent report from the company stated that there was uncertainty whether it could continue as a going concern. Of course, they've been saying that for years and you can choose to ignore it and rely on rumours instead...

If the price stays static, that alone will cause some folks who have bought only in the hope of a short term profit to drop out, like our good friend on here. That way shares can be hoovered up ...But I think a dip is more likely with a share as volatile as this one. I've got nothing against a profit, short or long term, but I hope there's much more to this one that will reward the patient. If it does go below 1p I'll be a buyer.
