Hi downbutnotout - I have re-posted a couple of comments below from other posters here that may be helpful, hope they don't mind:

From Grey Panther with regard to retrieving the ESP:

"We shouldn't need a big drilling rig. Just a very small work over rig is required to retrieve the ESP and then re-run the beam pump. Both of these should be readily available locally and not too expensive. I believe the beam pump was in use previously before the recent sidetrack and the abortive sand jetting operations."

From Ezhik with regard to merits of ESP:

"The ESP can be adjusted from the surface to take into account the fill rate of the well."

Hms687 - As far as I am aware the position regarding flow rates is as follows:

From RNS 14 Dec, 2023:

"The rod pump has now been installed on the SCHB 2(2.) well and, having produced at much higher rates initially, production has now stabilised at a rate of approximately 40 barrels of oil per day ("bopd")."

That flow from the rod pump will have ceased when they carried out the recent sidetrack and will shortly be replaced with the awaited stabilised flow rate from the recently installed esp (unless of course this is replaced with the rod pump)

There is also the modest flows from the other existing wells that when previously reported was 30 bopd.

From RNS 3rdJune:

"We remain convinced that Erfelden is a material and potentially highly valuable onshore oil discovery with Best Estimated recoverable reserves of 7.2mmbbl. The Company will now consider its options to maximise the value of the resource we have discovered."

"who is going to fund the drill ?" - if the technical information is good, and if absolutely necessary, they could possibly go for a farm out for a share of the profits.

One way or another we will know a lot more when we get the next RNS - let's wait and see what they have to say.

What is important here is the e mail that Newtrade received from the PR company that started as follows:

"We are responding to in our capacity as IR/PR for Beacon Energy."

Previous communications from the PR company started the same way and in the past they have sent out a standard response regarding certain issues at the time.

I know nothing about Jasper13 but perhaps he received the same response and added a few embellishment's - but that is now of no relevance here.

Chesh / Boffer / Grower - From memory PH sad that they would be running a Farm Out Marketing Campaign that he anticipated would run for 3 - 6 months. As I have pointed out previously that does not necessarily mean there will be an announcement of a farm out partner within that time frame. An announcement could of course be any time but IMO it is more likely to be later than sooner.

Newtrade - Thank you very much for sharing the below response from Beacon PR. That does seem to lay it on the line as to where we are at the moment.

I am not sure if you are aware of the post by Jasper13 yesterday morning at 5.55am - There are several similar sentences although for some reason his post was questioned by others.

Hemo - The Company stated in the RNS that it will now consider its options to maximise the value of the resource they have discovered. That does not sound like a company that is going to fold.

They own 100% of the asset and presumably now have a considerable amount of technical information so perhaps they could bring in a partner if necessary.
