This article about the new streaming service Quibi is inspirational. Thank you, Mel.

In brief, the founders of Quibi claim that there is a need for professionally filmed short videos for watching on phones (not on a TV!) and they are going to release an app which will provide 12 hours of videos per month in exchange for $5 monthly payment. According to the founders, currently, there is no "good" content suitable for "fast consumption" on phones: movies are filmed to be watched on a TV while a majority of videos on YouTube are not professionally filmed and lack celebrities.
I agree with Mel, Quibi is an endorsement that MelodyVR has taken the right direction. MelodyVR can start recording short unique musical videos or (informal) interviews with celebrities (as it has been previously done with Capaldi).
Also, an interesting point in the article is a comment of one of the founders about how to launch the service: "Quibi runs on instinct, judgement, and experience about what we launch, how we launch it, how many shows we launch, [and] the publishing schedule. Hollywood stuff." This proves that the way how the platform is launched is very important for the further success of the platform. This explains why Melody is cautious with releasing all its content.
At the end of the days, content is the king. Let's hope our content is the king of kings ;).
