Nick, I totally agree, it's shocking how people even so called intelligent people can be so easily manipulated. If oil and gas are finished, why are their so many wars around the globe for control of these resources.

Hi Buzz, what I was quoting was something I watched by Art Berman, a geologist with a lifetime in the oil industry. It was a couple of years old so things may have changed.

From what I understand,USA produces a lot of tight oil ie fracked which has already seen it's glory days and is depleting. Oil refineries require this to be mixed with thicker oils which alot is imported. The roducts of these refineries are often then termed as produced by the USA so therefore gives a misleading amount.

Amazing how so many now are trying to feed off people's impatience. Lots coming out of the woodwork with subtle negativity. I wonder why!!!

Biden has very much depleted the oil reserve and the tight oil reserves are not what they were so I see no reason for your doom and gloom.

NATO basically is the USA and the rest ie a bunch of sheep who will even stand by and watch their economies destroyed as they can’t now access cheap oil and gas from Russia, look at Germany . VW are looking to close a factory in Germany the first time in 80 years. Of course we still access Russian oil and gas but now via India, what a clever move by EU their smartness is astounding . Oh yes , did you realise Russia wanted to join nato but was refused! It’s good to have a perceived enemy then it gives reason to make a hell of a lot of money out of selling arms and NATO expansion helps there too .

Sometimes when I see a sea of green ie filtered posts it interests me who has started the thread and 9 times out of ten I can guess before seeing. I think you were right first in that money is most often behind most evil. Politicians are especially in USA motivated by the money and support they get from their sponsors who reward them for pushing their interests. Unfortunately as in the UK you end up with parties who are essentially the same. Gone are the days of serving the people and ones country, they are only interested in lining their own pockets and when retired being rewarded with boardroom jobs.
