Skinner, I've been informed by a good source that they have been aiming for Feb 20 for announcement of CGA. Admittedly they've missed deadlines before so take with a pinch of salt. A couple of chunkier buys today of 170k and 230k is a better sign. Hopefully start of re-rating as we switch to producer.

We couldn't complete the UC deal as they never got take off agreement. And If you look at their accounts they've not generated the cash. When I looked previously it was A$25m less than forecast. Let's forget UC, they have the funds to bid for Keaton. I expect a counter offer early next week

I wouldn't be surprised if it's not Keaton. Don't panic if not. All in hand :-)

Most important part is getting CGA which Mandi Glad, CEO of Keaton said could happen before end of January. So that's any day possibly! Everything else is second priority. Vele should be 6-8 weeks Mooiplaats - more viable given these coal prices Makhado IWUL - they were happy at the AGM that they could get suspension overturned when they wanted. Once get overturned they have a number of financial commitments so we're happy to wait. Previously stated Q1 but Keaton/CGA has priority
