Mooiplaats sale imminent....

Great RNS, and combined that with Uitkomst and we're in a great position. Yet no volume, quite depressing.

I've no doubt we'll get there and full confidence in management, DB is a very savvy operator. Interesting to hear Uitkomst production numbers esp given rally in coal prices since we took ownership. Hoping we can finally dispose of Mooiplaats to free cash for acquisition. If we tick all our boxes then someone will take us out in 6-months time when everything completed.

He's super positive about Makhado Lite and coal prices. Mooiplaats they were hoping for end of September but always waiting on that...

Well underlying coal prices continue to rise. And that should have more of an effect now that we're a producer!! On a secondary level will also help with sale of Mooiplaats and Vele.

Are we about to get a bounce? In June we had a big seller on JSE. I believe it was PIC who had 8.3m, and according to company they sold about 5m in June. This continued until mid July and now that selling pressure seems to have abated. They must be finished?! Someone happy to buy today, 100k at 48 gone through. Through 50 ZAr and could get a nice pop. I've also heard the Mooiplaats deal is almost done. It's not just the money received, it's getting it off our books in terms of care and maintenance. I do sense things have changed. Hopefully us long suffering share holders might finally get some reward! If we keep ticking the boxes, someone will snap us up, prob in mid-2018 when all the hard graft is done

From what ive been told Mooiplaats sale is close. A previous deal had been arranged but fell apart after the new mining charter. We've heard it all before but maybe things are close. We are looking for another CGA so hopefully can sell Mooiplaats to fund another. Whilst acquiring Uitkomst was a good first step, it wasn't big enough! We have a quarterly update this week so hopefully can get some production numbers for Uitkomst for month/quarter. I expected us to be re-rated as a producer but that hasn't happened yet. The other thing I noted mentioned on another board was that we are now potentially an acquisition target with further consolidation expected in the sector

So this asset we've paid approx 60m quid for probably has upside of £150-200m from previous discussions with company. I think we'll get taken out. Get the surface right and someone will take us out on the cheap. No brainer.

Officially a producer again tomorrow. Giddy up

Hopefully farmers will accept our final offer - will save having to go via the Courts and speed up getting surface rights.

Cheers Bozmo. This is looking great- and free float is low so think we'll get a decent bang for our buck when they allow this to go. I think we'll have the $114m from Hengshun in near future. Definitely coming together. DYOR. Good luck all

The focus will turn to funding for Makhado once Uitkomst deal is complete. The company still has an MOU with Hengshun. Could be an interesting 6-months

Chaps, What's your target on this? Long term with development of Makhado and GSP I think 50p minimum although think we'll get taken out well before then
