I know Thom Board, I have met him and had conference calls with him. I am fully aware of what role he wants to fulfill and thinks he is capable of fulfilling.

TB deals with the operational side not CW. The BOD directs and the three of them do their own bits. The last thing in the world we need is TB stuck behind a desk dealing with all the rubbish and nutcases that CW has to deal with. What top quality CEO would want to get involved with the history here and in any case AOGL is too small. Trying to get a top CEO on board would probably be fruitless and too expensive if successful. Having got into positive cashflow the last thing we need is to load more overhead on the business.

My view is that AOGL should look for a young entrepreneur who has decent assets with good cashflow and his own team who wants a quoted vehicle and let him reverse in. Somebody with 2mil 1P and say $500k pm PCF would be about right.

The team is making progress, they should be allowed to get on with it.

LVL I didn't say he did nothing: it is not a one man band. He has sorted out the company and it is now making progress. If he had resigned a month ago the person selling today would still be selling today.

I really couldn't care less whether you agree with me or not. If you have the CVs for better CEOs let's see them.

Some of the same people trying to cause problems last year and nick the company are at the their games again.

Again, not factually correct. CW became CEO when EG was removed and before that it was Randy Connolly. CW has been CEO for about a year.

And it has nothing to do with CW. In particular, the company is run by the board not by CW. PA is the executive Chairman and Thom Board is the Operations Director.
Some people on here have a personal emnity against CW and nothing anyone else can will ever change that.

I have been looking at that page from the ADL/Corallian presentation re the five licenses and I think I have changed my mind on what they will do next.

If you look at the RNSs re Colter and Colter South they talked about a working hydrocarbon system in the Cornbrash and Lower Oxfordian.

"In addition, the side-track encountered oil and gas shows in the Jurassic Cornbrash-Lower Oxfordian interval, the producing reservoirs in the Kimmeridge oilfield, and this provides an interesting potential target on trend to the west within the onshore licences held by the Joint Venture"

It may be that if they can find a suitable drill site that they attempt to test the Cornbrash and then long reach drill out to Colter South. As usual we will have all the unpleasantries of local authority planning permissions, HSE, Environmental Agency and the OGA to deal with. So unless they can find a way to truncate the process it may be that nothing happens for a while.

The quickest way might be to long reach drill from Wytch Farm to the Cornbrash and then continue out to Colter South.

All of these options will have to be mapped out, gamed and costed. The Purbeck prospect looks huge on the map.

It would suit ADL if nothing much happens for a while whilst it sorts out its cashflow in Indonesia. If it can sort out a couple hundred of bopd in Indo, it will reduce the dilution required for the Wessex Basin.

The BOD has to agree any update and decide the forward action. This is no longer a one-man band where Eddie or Randy just do what they want and everyone goes along with it. The BOD would have to receive the report and formally review it. It slows things down but good corporate governance is not a bad thing.

In any case, the NOMAD has to agree any RNS. So there would have been some to-ing and fro-ing.

In this case nothing was expected, if the came out and said 400/600k EUR people would have been happy. The fact that they are talking about development opportunities is a good thing. Development opportunities means more 1P and 2P in due course,

Not surprising... in fact I think quite promising. I have been banging on to the company and on here about upside at ZR and Austin for a long time. In my view there is behind the pipe resources, untapped intervals and undrilled resources at both fields.

"These will now be reviewed by a third party geologist who has been engaged by the Company to assess the study and determine further additional undeveloped potential."

If these reports had nothing much of interest in them, then these process would be truncated. That it has now been extended makes me think that they have some serious value there.

Do that explains the radio silence on Colter.

So to get this right, as the derampers would have it; Colter is a dud but the operator, Corallian, has just paid cash to increase its stake in Colter?

We should now start to get news on Colter and those four licenses and, no, I didn't know about this transaction.
