Briarbank, your comments are illustrative of why PIs lose money: they don't understand how to analyse things..
Worth nothing in the ground: completely, utterly 100% false. You know that is not true if you think about things for a second. In 2012 RRR sold part of its royalty on MT Ida for $12mil: in the ground. I posted an interview with the CEO of ECR on here yesterday; in talks with multiple parties about Creswick, including Newmont: in the ground. Petratherm just did s deal with Skarb for A$63mil: in the ground. Fosterville South listed on TSX valued at around C$200mil: in the ground.
At the Macalder tailings we have a JORC Measured resource of $170mil metal in place; that is as good as it gets.
JVs are standard in mining: juniors take an asset to the next value inflection point and then do a deal. RRR will do JVs the same as everyone else. On some reasonable assumptions a really decent SOTP calculation can be made for Xmas 20.
Things are looking really good, that may change. Hold on to your hat.
