Hi, ignore the morons. They are upset that their mis-informed posts get picked up and the truth clarified.
"Helpful - what is approximately the minimum CAPEX to become an APP and how long would it take to get a plant up and running?"
No I am not an insider on ALR and there is nothing about your question that could be relevant to being inside, just as my posting information about the system in Zim is not inside. Information in the public domain cannot be inside. So things like SI 5 2023 (Zim legislation) cannot be inside information.
Your question is really, how long is a piece of string? As I said SI 5 2023 is new legislation and so the practicalities are still being worked out: not worked out by ALR but by Zim and the mines dept.
The rules seem to indicate that any level of processing means that the material is "processed". Thus anything that processes the material could be regarded as a processing plant. So for instance, a Claw Mill could be regarded as a processing plant. A Claw Mill basically smashes the large lumps of material into smaller bit so that the material can be graded. Grading would also seem to be "processing". The rules around APPs also seem to let an operator start the process of getting the APP permit and then complete the plant within two years and still be able to rely on the APP permit during that period.
I have posted this previously but obviously no one read it: https://miningzimbabwe.com/cabinet-approves-a-new-lithium-ore-policy/
But as I said, how the rules are interpreted on the ground is another matter.
A major part of the new rules seems to be the reporting; ie., the Zim authorities want to know who is mining, the volume, the grade and who it is being sold to. Zim reckons that the level of illegal mining is off the clock.
With regards to being inside on ALR, I have not provided any inside information on ALR and in any case ALR is not a listed company and so the Market Abuse Regulations do not apply.
The people on here are just crazed, they constantly flip from one accusation to another. Some are just uninformed, some are incapable of being informed and some pretend to be uninformed/obtuse because it suits their attempts at price manipulation.
Putting aside all the nonsense on here, the major thing with ALR is the new licences and the new acreage. However much lithium ore we had in place previously we now have much more.
With or without current production and sales ALR is worth a lot money, certainly a lot more than when we put the money in. Remember that RRR has indicated that NDAs have been signed in respect of ALR.
People also need to understand that AB is human and DRC has taken up a lot of bandwidth. Hopefully, DRC is soon put to bed. ALR is now so large that it probably needs its own dedicated management team.
