All the businesses with any online presence is reporting booming business and that includes retail, electrical, fashion and even estate agencies!! Take a look today Dixons Carphone and OnTheMarket updates for example. If you think about Boohoo and it's purely online...imagine the year end update come end of September? This is a massive once-in-a-generation opportunity to invest in a giant like Rolls Royce. You don't want to be looking back and regretting in 12 months time when this is back to 500p. RR has a resilient Defence and Power systems business as well to soften the blow while aerospace recovers. Vaccine approval is also around the corner in next month or two. GL all.

Benrumpson - RR's revenue is dependent upon hours flown I believe, so servicing makes a little difference. Ryanair declared today, their traffic is 50% of 2019 level, hope to see increase in next couple of months. I am also hedging on good vaccine news from various large pharmas, there will be multiple vaccines approved in next couple of months. On Rolls Royce topic - people saying it will take years to recover are ignoring the fact that RR has a decent defence and power systems business (about half of their revenue) which is doing well in current market. RR is a unique business, try counting how many engine makers there are in this world, you won't need your second hand. RR will be back to 350p come November IMO. You invest when SP is distressed which currently is the case.

I would call this auction of Amigo - its a tussle to get control of an amazing business!! I wouldn't be surprised if a bid comes in as soon as JB is down to 10%. The loan book is staggering £700m - it takes years to get to the book size of that value. Anyone with little common sense would be happy to have Amigo's business. I expect this to open 25p on Monday based on JB's tweet. One thing for sure, we are looking at AMGO rising from the ashes and moving on to the next chapter in its journey!!
