Hi Flintwall. You're not alone. The market thrives on greed and fear. My strategy is to pick a profit I'm happy with and sell. I then trade my original stake, often for less shares but it works for me. I try not to get greedy as I see this as a bigger problem than being fearful. I've recently taken a healthy profit of ITM but am back in. Good luck.

Although I posted yesterday about selling most of my holding and retaining only a modest amount of shares, I thought I'd share something with you. I've been waiting over a month for my protein powder which has been out of stock due to pack reformatting! That's not great. I asked if they could send several smaller packs instead but apparently they can't do this. However, in the meantime I resorted to buying an alternative from a local retailer. It's absolutely dreadful. Although the taste is okay, it simply won't dissolve, it turns yoghurt into a polyfiller type consistency and won't even dissolve in water. My Protein whey isolate is absolutely the best there is, when I can get it.

Thanks Sharefall. Since I sold the SP has dropped 6p so today it seems like a good decision. Tomorrow there could be a bid which would make it seem a potentially poor decision, but I've given all the time I'm willing to give and I'm at peace with my decision. GLA.

I've explained on here a few times that I have / had a larger holding than many but over the past week, I've sold in tranches, realising a significant loss and now have a more modest holding. I did this because I can no longer put my hands over my ears to ignore the issues with this company. I have investments in many other areas, mostly funds, all of which have out performed this share by multiples. I've also been very fortunate with ITM over recent weeks which covers some of my THG losses. Warren Buffet says half the battle is knowing when to get out and I'm battle weary with THG. This may prove to be a poor decision and if so, I'll take it on the chin. Good luck to all of those still enthusiastic or trapped but for now at least I'm out.

If only we all had a pound for everytime we've heard this sort of stuff. Maybe one day it'll come to fruition.

Anyone who believes these three have inside knowledge probably shouldn't be investing in the stock market. They don't have any knowledge that isn't already out there.

The more pertinent question is why would anyone believe it anyway?

Hi. This is a genuine question, not designed as a 'gotcha'. Please could you kindly explain why the trading pattern looks like shorts closing? I've heard this so many times over the years but nothing ever comes of it. I'm genuinely interested in your rationale

Whilst I appreciate the sentiment, us private investors will have absolutely no influence whatsoever. These people do it for a living. I think we need a little reality check her. We are the hostages in this scenario. GLA

Evening. Trying to second guess this is a pointless endeavour. Let's be realistic here for a second, MM has surprised and outsmarted us at every turn. From the early surrender of the golden share, the hiving off of ingenuity, to the loan conversion deal. No-one on this BB saw any of it coming so it's reasonable to think we won't predict he next one. Keep calm and carry on. GLA.

I suspect ot would take significantly more people than the 30 or so on this BB. He appears, for now at least, to have the support of the major players. Relax and see what the first year of remainco brings.

I wonder if now would be a good time for us long term holders to pause for thought and reflect. I'm significantly underwater with a holding that's probably larger than many of us, so I totally understand the frustration. However, what always happens on this BB is posters focus on the negatives and the talk gets more and more negative with every post. Conversely, when there's a sliver of positive news, the chatter becomes hysterical, speculation is treated as fact and when it fails to materialise, the doom loop spins again. Strategically things have moved on and hopefully the business will pick up organically or there will be an event. Either way, let's reflect, stay grounded and stop the doom. Hi Oke. Given most of us long term holders are significantly under water, I can't agree a 1p maiden dividend would have elevated MM from zero to hero. It's nothing. I want to see value but I actually believe if and when we get a dividend it needs to be a bit more meaningful than 1p to make any impression at all on market sentiment. I hope your other musings re MA come to fruition by the way. You put up some reasonable arguments for the plan.

Hi Oke. He may well have brought it on himself but I'll never be the person to rejoice in anyone's downfall. I do think he's out of his depth. I do think the Chairman is invisible and I do think a fresh management team is needed.

I could be wrong, but I think MM may be under pressure from others now. I'd be sad to see someone who came from nothing and built up a business like this be ousted, but unfortunately I believe there's no realistic alternative now. A reputation and narrative of poor management has taken hold and will be difficult if not impossible to overcome. I actually think MM knows this himself, given his performance and appearance this morning.

I agree, MM looks down, deflated and beaten. I'm not normally one to post things like this but I can't deny, there was little to no enthusiasm from him at all. In fact, I would say Lucy looked the same, perhaps some knowledge but very little enthusiasm and it certainly didn't inspire confidence. What a shame.

PMH198. That maybe a stretch. They aren't the worst results possible at all. Much of the disappointment comes from the hilarious speculation on this BB. Some people convincing themselves and others way beyond reality that a dividend or buyback was coming. That was just not going to happen this time around.
