Is that article not a year old nearly and somewhat redundant?

It seems this board cannot be pleased. The chat ver the last week has all been about THG meeting guidance and it has. In fact, given previous results, this is more of a triumph than it seems. We now have the long awaited strategic update. It may not be what some posters hoped for, but it's an update nonetheless.

Now we wait to see what the market makes of the results and the new contract?

When the Apollo talks concluded, the consensus was the SP would tank due to the results RNS. In fact it didn't and recovered to a reasonable level quite quickly. My view is, the GS is already priced in to some extent, hence the muted reaction.

Does have a tendency to shun new posters, get carried away with assumptions and opinions, push agendas in the hope they become fact and variously slate or praise MM whichever way the wind blows on any particular. Given no one saw today's news coming, it might be best to sit back and enjoy the ride. I know many of us have waited a long time for our moment, we might as well revel in it.

Are new posters on the LSE boards treated so poorly by others? It's not just THG, Solgold is just the same. It's as if those who post the most, feel as they have ownership of the entire BB, even when proved wrong. There's room for everyone, if you don't agree, that's fine, but surely this can be done respectfully. I've held shares and read this BB for a good while, but as soon as I posted on here, I was treated with suspicion, and labelled a shorter, for no reason whatsoever. If we're all invested, we are all entitled to read, and contribute should we choose. Welcome City Stu and anyone else sitting on the sidelines. Try not to be put off. GLA

Hi. Yes, I'm very aware, having held previously several times despite being in profit. With this share, previously I've managed to get it wrong more times than I've gotten it right, hence my caution this time. There may be much positive talk at the moment, but I haven't forgotten I've been here before.

Molokai - thanks for te response, for what it was. I've just retired and have more of these shares than I intended (averaging down). I've been underwater for a long time and and maybe too cautious. There's never any excuse for being plain rude.
