Nice late report traded today - £15k worth at 11.50 - looks like a buy to me given nothing has traded above 11.5p this week. Any sales have been going at nearer 11p.
Possibly - but i see many others too - I would not rule out companies like Currys, AO.com, Private Equity, EcoRenew Group, EcoATM, TES, Backmarket, Amazon, Timsons Group....
Another small disposal by Cannacord reported today - sold at 11p. So must be buyer willing to pay north of 11p.
If I'm right, Cannacord have another 210k further shares to dispose of as I beleive its deivesting from their smaller fund but leaving their 11m shares in the micro cap fund
I'm wondering if the constant drag is due to the 25m shares that will be due as part of the purchase of Boom Bars. The most recent RNS stated that the overwhelming majority of venues are performing at the require level for the previous owners to receive the additional shares.
25m is quite a significant chunk of the current shares in issue
My posts are absolutely factual - the Schroders activity is taken directly from the many RNS updates in the last few weeks.
The comment on the baord's confidence in hiiting FY23 numbers is direct from their interim report RNS
Still waiting for you to comment on contrast in value between the current mCAP of MMAG and those of similat companies.
Some have tried to scaremonger about kiosks - yet ecoATM have received c£300m of incestment in the last 3 years to aggressively roll them out. Kiosks are delivering almost half the Consumer Tech they source - and the value paid out is 10-15% higher through kiosks
I hope you afford the board the same courtesy as me - if this shareprice is single digit in 6-8 weeks time I will be here to accept I was wrong. If the SP is multiples of today in 6-8 weeks time, I hope you'll pay a visit here too
Interesting to note that the overwhelming volume of shares are changing hands at 11p or higher.
Cannocord managed to sell 100k at 11.39 in the last day or so
At the same time I've been able just over 11p.
I would have expected to see the sells below the price at which i can by at - which does make me think that there is something going that is keeping the price above 11p
RedOliv3 - MMAG are almost certainly in discussions with interested parties
The board made it very clear in July in their investor call AND in the dcoumented and audited interim report that they are confidently of delivering this year in line with market expectations. So for me, I'm not expecting to be particularly surprised when they trading update comes out.
I strongly suspect the timing may be impacted by ongoing conversations with interested parties.
Robswire - care to discuss some of the comments by the CEO of ecoATM ? Or perhaps the amount of money paid for ecoATM, or the proceeds that Regerensis received for its repair business.
Schroders sold 38k - WOW!!! Thats's almist 0.3% of their holding. Shall we talk about the 13.8m they still hold....
Schroders were acting on behalf of BT and Aurelius - Schroders 'added' 426k shares in November 2023 (almost certainly on behalf of BT/Aurelius whilst they were in talks with MMAG)
In December they have sold 586k and bought 103k.
My guess is that (1) they are probably offloading a small number of shares acquired by BT/Aurelius now that they no longer intend to bid AND/OR (2) they are involved in some short selling perhaps on behalf of another interested party
Who knows really
But like I have said before, it's a very small number of shares and IMHO the share price no longer affected the genune market value of the company.
Let's see what happens - I'm sticking to my view that this company will not go for less than £50m
Their CEO staed in March 2023 when anncouncing the latest tranche:
“We’ve just begun to scratch the surface of the re-commerce economy," said Stan Pavlovsky, CEO of ecoATM. “With the confidence of our investment partners behind us, we are excited for the opportunity to position ourselves as the first choice when it comes to trading-in high quality used smartphones and bringing affordable smartphone access to consumers, all while making a meaningful impact in reducing harmful e-waste.”
I'm trying to make reasoned arguments and underpin the reasons for a higher valuation
But to be honest - £11m for this company is simply bonkers. As demonstarted by the price at which Refenersis disposed of their 'rapir, renew, depot' asset for £80m
