HREE closed up 0.2p (14.81%) to 1.55p on Friday 1st. August, the first trading day after the placing announcement, which was seventh place on the top risers board: that tells you that the market welcomed the news.

It is certainly quite rare for a mining sector share to have a significant placing at a real premium, as in this case, so that is a very bullish sign.

But what's even more important is what they're going to do with the money, which is to pursue a series of major, value-enhancing milestones.

Note the Performance Warrants, which are exercisable at a price of 5 pence per warrant, and only if a mining licence is achieved: in order for a significant number of warrants to be exercised at 5p, the share price will have to be a lot higher than that, which gives you some indication of the potential gains here.

And in conclusion, with important new directors, shareholders, and an extra broker on board, word about HREE should now start spreading rapidly, especially with current defence concerns.

Lucy Bronze, England's most decorated footballer, the one player who epitomises what it is to be a Lioness, just had a feeling all along.

Even with a fractured tibia throughout the tournament, Bronze would not give up. She would not miss this moment, as her side defended their European title and overcame the world champions on foreign soil.

The 33-year-old more than played her part. She only came off when she could no longer run through the pain, tears forming in her eyes during the Euro 2025 final against Spain, as she finally allowed someone to take her place in extra time, before England's penalty shootout victory.

Sarina Wiegman's side defied the odds, silenced the doubters, came back from the brink over and over and over again.

They simply won at any cost.

At the end of it, there can be no doubts. This was the greatest achievement in the history of English football.

It is the first time an England team have won a major trophy on foreign soil after Wiegman's side delivered at home in 2022, and the men's 1966 World Cup victory took place at Wembley Stadium.

The Lionesses also became the first senior English side to defend their title - and they did it by coming from behind at half-time - the first time that had been done before in the women's Euros.

Super Furry Animals Month: July 28, 2025 – August 27, 2025

A Super well done to the English Lionesses and British Lions: for their stellar sporting successes this weekend just gone.

Two stirring triumphs of fighting spirit to recover from adversity, and of British success overseas: drawing parallels with Newmark Security's own renaissance from prior challenges, and conquering of America.

TET was a great growth stock for a long time: but has now fallen from about 1,300p at the start of 2022, to 206p this weekend, a decline of about 84%.

Something has clearly gone very wrong to cause such a dramatic decline in this case.

And its best days could now be behind it.

TET's long term chart looks to be showing a bearish head-&-shoulders formation, which (like dandruff) doesn't create a good impression ...

Some shares can fall 80-90% despite the underlying growth story still being intact, perhaps just on a business blip from a very overbought level: and they may be real buy opportunities.

In other cases it can be something a lot more long term and serious.

And as an investor, it's worth putting some thought and effort into trying to distinguish between these two types: which can make the difference between going bankrupt and becoming a millionaire.

(Newmark Security (NWT) is a good example of the better type: falling c. 90% (consolidation-adjusted) to its September 2022 low of 25p, before recovering to its current s.p. of 80p (market cap. £7.5m.): and with the likelihood of a lot more to come shortly:-

TET's 24th. July reduced guidance for FY profit before tax and exceptionals (PBTE), of between £9m and £11m, from £16m-£18m PBTE, is very bad on the scale of profit warnings: with expected profit down by up to c. half (c. £9M.): if another fall of that level comes, then the company could be approaching losses.

Though that alone doesn't mean that it couldn't, in theory, just be a blip.

But in this case it looks like commoditisation could be setting in here, which is standard in the food, drink, and chemical industries.

The reference to new markets and growth opportunities could be a sign of this:-

As discussed in previous posts, America’s virtually non-existent rare earth and permanent magnet supply chains have become a top national security concern. Since those articles, that urgency has started to show up in the markets with MP Materials surging over 100 percent in just a few weeks following major deal announcements.

This is the third article in my minerals series exploring investment opportunities. The first piece made the case for a commodity supercycle and shared four related stock picks.
