Supply of copper will obviously decrease throughout this time but so will demand. I'm not sure what the net effect will be on the price though as they seem to cancel each other out.

In the medium term though, I suspect that CapEx will decrease among copper producers and thus supply will decrease even further resulting in an increase in the copper price.

Saudi and Russia have announced an agreement and could potentially cut 20m bod. This could also be contingent on the US reducing production too.

Everyone was hoping for a Chinese outfit. And no-one had any inkling that we were even considering a company from Singapore.

The silver lining is they can keep the lights on for a year with this placing.

Whilst everyone was hoping for a Chinese investor to invest $100mm +, instead we get a Singaporean company with another dilution.

The prospect for JKX is pretty decent at these levels. I can only thing we are down here due to the natural gas price.

You might call it hindsight, but a few people have stated this is going down and they were lambasted because they shared a different opinion.

Their logic was sound and it still is.

There is no deal in sight, cash has been wasted for well over a year and the market is now in turmoil. If TM couldn't get a deal two years ago, he won't get a deal in the next two years.

I thought the same two years ago but there has never been anything concrete with a deal. The market economics are even worse now. I can't see anything happening for at least another two years.

Steven, do you think we are near a deal?

I can see the whole of Europe in recession over the next year. Not quite sure about the US yet and less sure about China. I initially suspected their GDP would be between 4%-5% but I might have to revise that

The ex-chief economist for UBS stated this morning on LBC that he thought China had contracted in Jan and Feb. If that's the case, demand for commodities from China will only nose-dive.

I agree. I think it might take 6 months to steady the share price and to start an upward trajectory. But during times are crisis you want to be in safer stocks which generate cash.

I'm still trying to assess the likelihood of the oil price in a low interest rate environment.

I dont think the selling here is due to panic selling. This has fallen for a good two years because management are clueless about how to progress.

The reality is they have a sub-par asset in BKM which no-one wants to fund. And an asset in Beutong which, although might look attractive, needs a lot more drilling to prove out. And management which is far from world class who are unable to convince investors of their ability to turn a small mine into a profitable venture.

The 52 week low is around 20p so we've basically bottomed out.

The only concern are commodity prices which will looks to be held up by central bank rate cuts and accommodative fiscal policy.

How long until we need to do another raise?

What questions were put to the BOD? Did anyone ask anything about the low placing or why they are taking another six months for 'value enhancement' when they've just spent the last six months doing that unsuccessfully?

I find listening to management, not about what sweet words they tell you, but about what they don't tell you.

If you read what I actually stated you will have read that I put "

You will also recall that I have put "We know the BFS isn't going to attract funding (otherwise Asipac would have placed at a premium rather than a 20%+ discount"

So to say that I haven't spoken about the current funding is totally delusional.
