Cuddo and his ilk spend time and effort firing the same old tired and baseless insults at those expressing a less than positive opinion on ANGS. You know the sort of thing... anyone daring to suggest that ANGS is not the best-managed company in the world with the most fantastic prospects just around the corner simply MUST be an evil shorter or XR swampy... yawn.

However and as is entirely self-evident, what cuddo and crew are entirely failing to do - despite continual and increasingly desperate efforts - is to persuade the market that at the current SP, ANGS is a bargain.

I wonder who folk should pay more attention to? Cuddo and his pitifully unpopular Twatter share tipping page? Or the market in general? Hmmm, close call, eh?

The answer is of course no, not at all. Whatever InvesterInvester's agenda is for continually pasting his substance-free ramps (also full of glaring inaccuracies as you point out), it doesn't involve doing any research into UKOG - or indeed knowing anything about the company at all.

Which naturally leads one to ask oneself how come a "genuine investor" could be so woefully ill-informed... and the answer to that is IMO pretty obvious.

I personally wouldn't bother saying anything to someone buying 7 million shares today... it'd be too cruel to mock the clearly afflicted. Unless of course it was one of the UKOG board buying 7 million shares, whereupon I'd say "Why the Hell are you three months late?"... but of course there's zero risk of that happening.

I would however congratulate whoever had sold those 7 million shares for finally waking up and smelling the ever more prevalent bitter stench of the UKOG coffee...

...and if the Loxley appeal gets upheld (as mostly everyone presumes it will), one question demands asking... so what?

It's just something else very tenuously portrayed by UKOG and Stevo's ramptastic fan club as an "asset" (and I'm quite sure it'll shortly be described by the cheerleaders as "a potentially transformational asset").

The facts however are that Loxley is of course pretty much entirely untested and unproven. To adequately check any potential it may have out is going to take plenty of time and plenty of money. UKOG has none spare of the latter and seemingly not too much of the former any more either.

So why, pray tell, is the Loxley appeal being upheld any sort of big deal? I mean, apart from giving Stevie's choir something else to sing about, given that the Basur musical has crashed and burned for the foreseeable and that by now UKOG has run out of all other siren songs to sing?

By the way... given that UKOG felt it was of sufficient import and market-sensitive enough to announce a while back that it had applied for additional licences at Basur...

...now that it's been officially confirmed by Turkey's version of the OGA that UKOG's applications have all been turned town and those licences now awarded to others, how come Stevo and the other members of the Gang Of Four have decided that this particular cold hard factual nugget of information isn't mandatorily worthy of an RNS to inform the market of this latest failure?

Skwizz... unless the IQ-challenged cheerleader squad manage to convince enough people even more gormless than they are to put more hard-earned into the Sanderson trough, I think you're going to struggle to exit with a positive on that 0.18p average (and yes, I know it hardly matters).

I'm really not sure that the likes of InvesterInvester (great spelling, by the way... there's a clue there), Danpoe, ScottyK et al. are going to manage this. Firstly, none of them has worked out yet that in order to gain any traction, a ramp attempt at least has to have some faint veneer of possible truth about it. And of course secondly, the company has not managed to provide a single snippet of news that could be wildly exaggerated and spun to the max.

Just goes to show that as ever, you can't polish the unpolishable.

On another note, less than two weeks now before we should be told about the third tranche of (albeit minuscule) director share purchases under the DDSPP. Anyone else reckon they'll again decide simply not to bother, and renege on a commitment made for the third month on the trot?

That's what my money's on - it's very clear how the board view the future prospects of the company they're running... not even worth putting £2800 quid into. Between them.

...and then there's Danpoe with his renewed frantic squeakings - all in CAPS, mind you, because sure, that makes them MUCH MORE CREDIBLE - about booooom time and rockets being lit. Tragic...

Danpoe you seriously need to re-enrol in ramp kindergarten, because a halfway decent ramp needs to have even a faint shred of possible credibility about it. Sadly your attempts don't.

There's no update due any time soon on Basur-3, as recent RNSes have made patently clear. The drill bit got stuck and anyway they drilled in the wrong place (unsurprising, since they were drilling blind in a mad rush so as not to contravene licence terms).

So, if you could read (let alone understand) recent RNSes, you'd know that drilling has been entirely suspended at Basur-3 until new seismic is carried out and evaluated. That'll take months - and I doubt the rig is still even onsite. I mean, what'd be the point?

To be fair, we are due a couple of RNSes though. First, having announced to the market a while back that it was hoping to secure additional licences at Basur, UKOG is extremely late in telling the market that it's now officially failed to secure any (they've been awarded to other parties). Strikes me as a delinquency in not informing the market there...

Secondly, where's the RNS confirming directors' share purchases under the DDSPP? Ot perhaps they're just going to continue to not bother. I mean, they'd know better than anyone what the actual future's looking like for UKOG...

So unfortunately the "booom" we're most likely to hear is much more probably going to be a small wet "phut" as UKOG slowly disappears up itself into nothing at all...

Personally speaking, the "vermin" here are those short-term traders who've called it wrong, buying in expecting a quick spike (and thus a quick profit), but who now find themselves trapped. Such people are now ever more desperately talking utter BS, making outlandish substance-free predictions and (of course) slating anyone posting a more realistic (and thus inevitably negative, sadly) opinion.

Such deliberate disingenuousness while pretending to be some sort of committed long term holder who will "keep topping up" and claiming to believe they're holding "a diamond hand" is indeed verminously deceitful.

Re Sanderson and the UKOG board having to busk (and God, wouldn't that be utterly suitable karma after all this time and all that money), I suspect their go-to tune would have to be "Tomorrow" from the musical Annie.

Stickign exclusively to the facts (you know, those pesky things that the rampers simply hate), those continuing to show delusion are those who keep assuring anyone cretinous enough to listen that there's a "strong future and a strong SP re-rate" just around the corner.

Yes the UK needs oil and gas... but it doesn't need UKOG, because the latter produces next to none, despite having spent years and years and tens of millions of investors' money trying to do so.

If Sanderson and his other cronies on the gang of four had results-based salary packages, they'd have been sleeping rough long ago, spending their days having to busk for small change in some urine-drenched underpass. Instead they've trousered (and continue to trouser) millions in investor-supplied cash in return for absolutely nothing at all.

WG don't waste your breath making perfectly reasonable points. Cuddo is very obviously a short-term trader who got his timings wrong and is now eager to get his cash out of ANGS - hence the endless substance-free ramps and the fairy stories he keeps spinning (along with regularly promoting his tragically irrelevant share tipping Twitter page).

He'll therefore disparage, insult or ignore any comment or poster - no matter how justified and factual - that doesn't align with his particular and purely self-serving agenda.

Ozzy seems to be much like a dewy-eyed and crushingly naive lovestruck teenager, when it comes to his perma-blinkered adoration of salmon slacks. Despite the ever-increasing mountains of evidence that Sharecoin Sanderson views all PIs with utter contempt and merely as a means to get his fat monthly salary paid, Ozzy remains desperately convinced that it's mutual true love and that wedding bells are just around the corner. It's like he cannot bear to face up to any other possibility.

It'd be almost sweet, if it weren't so tragically misguided.

As posted before, if - as is expected - the Loxley appeal goes UKOG's way, the company will trumpet this as "transformational" etc etc from the rafters - and sure, there may be a brief spike.

But both brief and not much of one at all, IMO. Because more objective heads will ask themselves the question "What does Loxley actually do for the company?" It's just another in a fairly long line of pretty much entirely unproven assets that will need to be investigated to see if it has any chance of being commercial. Such investigation takes both money and time. UKOG certainly hasn't got any of the former spare to conduct such investigative work... and it may well be that by now, it hasn't got much of the latter left either.

However, if/when news of an appeal being upheld is announced, none of the above inconvenient facts will prevent the day traders from rushing in here to join the cheerleaders and to start burbling utter nonsense about this being a sign of imminent multibags being just around the corner...

Agreed. The next thing possibly spinnable as "good news" is an appeal win at Loxley - and you can bet your last penny that UKOG will spin this (if it happens - and to be fair, it probably will) as "transformational news" - let's face it, they've got literally nothing else to spin at the moment.

The question that the more objective will of course ask themselves is: what difference does winning the appeal at Loxley actually make? It's just another speculative asset that'll need investigating to see if it's in any way commercially viable. That'll take both time and money - and UKOG doesn't have any spare cash to fund any such investigation.

However and entirely irrelevant to those inconvenient truths, expect to see the short-term squad power on in here with "Brilliant news!", "2p/5p target now!", "Well done Steve!" etc etc as soon as such news is released.

It's everyone's inalienable right to squeeze their eyes tight shut, jam their fingers firmly in their ears and yell "La la la" at the top of their voices, in order to avoid having to confront the ugly reality of things.

However, that doesn't make it a good idea to do so.

Here's a wild and seriously left-field suggestion to increase confidence in and credibility of UKOG... how about the company for once in its history actually delivers on any of its assurances or promises?

Whether that's producing commercially viable quantities of anything at all from any of its "assets"... or whether that's the UKOG board actually sticking to its RNSed promise to buy an albeit pitiful number of shares in the company every month, starting from early July?

Either thing would be a good start... because pretty much from the off, those the cheerleaders and ramptastic squad variously call "naysayers", "swampies", shorters" and "trolls" would actually be far more accurately described as:-

The auditable and thus undeniable facts confirm this beyond any shadow of any doubt. So, over to Sando and UKOG to change such pure fact-based perceptions by actually delivering on something... anything... he really ought to, given how much he's trousered in salaries and bonuses over the still ongoing years of non-delivery.
