So, one simple question...

It's completely apparent by now that the UKOG board have no intention of putting any of their own skin in the game - and presumably the only possible reason for that can be that they have absolutely no faith or belief in the prospects of the company they're running. Let's face it, they'd have the clearest and most informed view on these...

The board's failure for the third month in a row to buy any shares under the RNSed DDSPP is actually an irrelevance. As we all know, closed periods excepted, any of the directors could have bought in to any level at any time over UKOG's entire history to date... and yet they haven't.

So here's the question.

Given that the DDSPP wasn't and isn't in any way necessary to enable director share purchase...

...and given that the UKOG board has utterly reneged on the commitments made i the DDSPP for the third month in a row anyway...

....what was the point of creating and announcing the DDSPP in the first place, if there was never the slightest intention from the UKOG board to abide by it?

The only logical answer I can come up with is that the sole purpose of the DDSPP announcement was to head off a growing and more organised shareholder dissatisfaction at the time and also to help get the end Jun placing away (you'll remember that the first buy-in was meant to be announced on July 2nd and the placing was complete and forward sold by then).

If that's correct, that smacks of quite deliberate misleading, no? That would be fairly serious - so has anyone else got any other possible suggestions re the reasons for the DDSPP's creation?

Cuddo, why would anyone get so nervous about their own words and what they've publicly written on Twatter getting repeated? Given the tragically underfollowed nature of your Twatter share tipping page, one would think you'd be pleased?

So, will Sando and his director cronies finally buy into the company they're running (into the ground, apparently) under the terms of the DDSPP (announced via RNS on May 28th)? Okay so even if they all do, the absolute maximum they'd invest between them would be under three grand, according to the terms stated in the DDSPP announcement, but hey, at least it'd be something...

Or, will the UKOG board go for the hat trick of showing just how much contempt they hold UKOG investors in by utterly reneging on their commitments to buy in for the third month in a row? If they stiff PIs like this again, there can seemingly be no doubt that the whole DDSPP announcement was deliberately misleading and that the board had no intention whatsoever of sticking to its RNSed commitments.

I guess we'll find out for sure on Monday. Will there be an RNS announcing that one or more directors have bought in? I know what my money's on... to me it's blatantly obvious from their continuing refusal to put any of their own skin in the game that the UKOG board (which let's face it must have the most informed opinion of things) do not for one second believe in the future prospects of the company they're running.

I found it mildly noteworthy that, at time of writing, AME's total share of production from all fields it has any sort of interest in is just 900bopd.

Again, nobody's shorting. That's just the usual imbecilic ramper excuse to try to explain away the existence of less than positive comments.

The real reason that there are less than positive comments on ANGS is far simpler. It's because the company continues to fail on delivering anything at all and continues to massively miss self-set deadlines and cost estimates.

Cuddles is oh so obviously still desperately trying to escape the ANGS lobsterpot, having badly mistimed his hoped-for short-term trade.

Now that we've established that Cuddles, that self-alleged "genuine long-term committed holder", doesn't know the difference between the multi Oscar-winning director of the Star Wars movies and some self-alleged "financial expert" who's failing to deliver on anything at all while at the ANGS helm (as Yoda might have said, "Useless, he is is... hmmm... hmmm")...

...,perhaps we should have a competition to choose Cuddles a new Star Wars themed ID name?

My suggestions are either Daft Trader, or Return Of The Neddy.

Mind you, what with Cuddles' continual desperate ramptastic spamming of this and other share discussion bulletin boards under his collection of multi IDs, perhaps Attack Of The Clones is more suitable? Or a New Dope, maybe?

The similarities between these two lifestyle AIM microcap oilers remain remarkable. Next to no production of anything from either, tens of millions of pounds of funding raised and spent in exchange for pretty much nothing at all, both boards being rewarded regularly and highly for consistent and abject non-delivery on previous assurances and estimates (whether cost- or time-based) and both now having made their last desperate rolls of the dice in their respective last chance saloons...

BV, if you want to be a fully paid up member of the cheerleading squad, better stick religiously to the script and entirely avoid mentioning any of those pesky "ifs".

It's not like trivial matters like "actually producing - and in sustainably commercially viable quantities" are important or anything...

The DDSPP (you know, that share purchase commitment the directors announced by RNS back in May which was meant to start from early July... but which has so far at least been entirely reneged upon by the board) states that directors will buy in (to the tune of a tragically pitiful amount, but still... it'd be something) on the first Friday of every month. That'd be today then.

And the fact that some or all of them have purchased shares under the DDSPP will be announced by RNS on the next working day. That'd be Monday then.

So, let's see if the UKOG board - which let's face it are those most in the know about the actual prospects for the company they're being paid so handsomely for running - renege on their commitment to PIs for a third month on the trot. Has Steve got enough bare-faced contempt to go for a hat trick of very publicly sticking it to private investors (even more so than he's been doing for years)? We'll know by close of biz Monday...

Tragically, the agenda-controlling ramptastic Moonies on the Telegram group are trying to convince the gormless over there that Basur-3 has been confirmed as "a gusher".

Which is interesting, considering drilling at Basur-3 is currently abandoned (and has been so for several weeks), the hole that was drilled in a rush to start with was drilled blind and thus in entirely the wrong place and in fact the rig's been moved off-site for use elsewhere with another party.

Mind you, on that basis, Sando and cronies clearly aren't fools, because despite commitments to the contrary, they've not parted with even a penny to invest in the company they're running. What a confidence-inspiring mark of faith that is...

The other wrinkle about Dunsfold is that the entire airfield site is well on the way to having a new village of 1,800 homes built on it, plus other amenities (2 schools, medical centre, shops, business park etc etc).
