NewKOTB - Kate is a non-exec. What do you think non-execs do? I have been in board meetings of a few companies. The clue is in the name. The exec directors (usually just the CEO and CFO, its rare to have an executive chairman) circulate their board papers and present / talk through the key items / updates. The non-execs ask a few questions, nod along and offer support. Their role is there to ensure that the execs aren’t just running the company for themselves and to just offer support through their network. That is all. Kate or any of the non-execs can’t make any decisions nor proactively provide any opinion at board meetings of the future direction of any company. Non execs just get their cushty £40k a year to attend 10 meetings a year. Its a nice easy gig if you can get it. Just find it strange when people get excited over a non-exec appointment thinking they can actually run the company

Steve49 - MOU was only signed at end of November. How much of an update would you expect over December / Christmas?
Cash position has increased despite capex in a low price environment.
VAS field issue is with the courts, not much the board can do about that.
Operationally, the company has delivered

Great update. Overall cash increasing by $3m with weak pricing. EV is around £25.3m which is very cheap. No debt too

Strange how Nickel_Investor "warns against the liabilities" of a cash generating company but is bullish about SXX which have huge liabilities of £455m, do not produce cash and can't get a bond issue out currently. And there is Nickel_Investor's MO for all those interested

Krok - Why don't you sell? You've traded it a few times as you say from 40p to 60p making profit. Why not sell and get out at a small loss or break even if you can't see near-term upside. You can't win them all. Surely its not worth stressing and bad mouthing the company

Nickel Investor - Gas prices experienced a extreme high last year. They are just coming back to normal levels and anticipated to increase as oil price also increase. This is in UK, Western Europe as well as Eastern Europe. Not sure why you are bearish here and bullish on RPT.
UK gas price reached a high of 80p last year and low of c.32p now. Around 60% fall.
Ukraine gas price high of 11389.95 in Sept 18, now 6800. Around 40% fall.
It was also unusually high in Ukraine. Shouldn't you be consistent and be bearish on RPT too?

Think our tax losses should have grown in 2018 as we weren't producing anything and thus no revenue. Although BKR was backdated to 1st Jan 18, as far as the tax man is concerned, it is BP, BHP etc who are liable for tax up until completion. Therefore, only our profit for the month of December is taxable. Whether this was enough to cover expenses for the previous 11 months - we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully a larger tax pool to utilise
