You guys have balls of steel holding here knowing one missile strike can send this to 0 or if yhe war ends the ukraine government seizing the assets to rebuild the country.

It is well known, but these were being talked up at 110p and is now sub 100p. You have to understand the risks. Especially in a place where even the courts have been accused of corruption! Having a Swiss holding company doesn't mean much. Which entity has the actual licence and what are the conditions for it? We don't know. But it certainly won't be the first time a company which has a holding company domiciled elsewhere has had its assets seized in the country where it has been operating. It is absurd to think otherwise!

Only have small holdings in AET and Plus500 currently. Remainder in cash. Both are risky so just speculative plays currently

Anything can happen here. Ukraine is corrupt. Even when the war ends, they will need to rebuild the country and companies like FXPO will be burdening the bill. Could go lower here unless you are just trying to scalp, uninvestable.

The tax losses can and will be utilised across the whole group for profits going forward. They will be group relieved. This brings down the deal price significantly

Soder - the tax losses will have already been given a valuation and taken into account in both Serica’s and Mercuria’s valuation of Tailwind in this deal. Mercuria wanted shares rather than cash on this valuation so it isn’t right to say they want to use the tax losses on serica valuation when they are already being paid for these tax losses. They could have insisted on cash rather than shares on this deal and be done with it all

Odey has increased his short position here recently. Clearly has seen something here

I do find it interesting that Mercuria want shares as their consideration rather than cash. In essence, this is their exit opportunity with Tailwind but seeing as thiugh they want shares, they must see significant upside to be had here in the future
