Sooo……. We’re going to the moon then.

In fact, not only is this a turnaround, the benefit being you get an enormous discount on the future intrinsic value or the business, but it’s also in what is or what will be in a growth market, meaning you are getting in at dirt cheap prices at what could be a monstrously profitable stock. It could be like paying peanuts for Nvidia before the industry blew up.

We are at the bottom end of clear cut turnaround. My only wish is that i had more money to invest. All of the big names say to ignore short term ups and downs otherwise you will make emotional decisions, and they are right.

Capxx was at 13p with a fraction of the potential it has now. No DR Cooley, no Shurter etc.

I know i live an easy life when the hardest part of it is waiting for the weekend to be over so i can get back to Capxx

If i recall correctly, we got within a hair of reaching an SP of .40 and just as we touched it, the SP collapsed again. Let’s see if we can maintain that buy pressure this time.

Further to that, it seems people in here like the to accuse traders of manipulating share price through ramping/deramping.

I think people don’t like traders because they celebrate when the price drops at the same time value investors are pulling their hair out watching their long hold take a step back.

People in here in particular have been waiting for years it seems to see if their investment money has been sidelined for no good reason or if the wait was worth it, and every time they think they are about to be vindicated and the share price drops again, the traders come in with streamers and party hats to celebrate.

It’s as you say though, both get what they want in the end when the company does well.

I know what a moats are. Now what, guy who has nothing to learn from Lynch or Munger?

27001 You don’t think expanding markets attract competition (Lynch) or that you should see what ways a company could mess up and see what they are doing to avoid it (Munger)

Is it your opinion that Capxx will magically have the market all to it’s self and is incapable of making mistakes?

Also, what’s with the hostility? I’m not your school bully, go dump that childhood trauma on someone else, and if you think i’m wrong, use your words like a big boy and explain why.

Deramping? Is only blind optimism allowed on here? If you were to look you’d see my posts are mostly optimistic, i just think it’s wise to follow Munger’s approach and seeing how things may also go wrong and what the company is doing to avoid it.

Apparently people have been expecting significant news on here for years. I’m getting a bit tired of the “Any minute now!” crowd on here myself.

Here’s a question, if we can all see how amazing an opportunity this is, why hasn’t the rest of the market noticed yet and sent this to the moon?

Capxx is going to have to work very hard to stay at the top of the food chain in my opinion, the industry we are in now is like the rocket industry in the space race. With the market opportunities as they are, every man and his dog will take a swing at capacitors. However, being at the top already gives them a good advantage. It’s worth keeping an eye on the competition though i think. If another company can sell better for cheaper we investors need to know it before Capxx customers know it.

I posted previously that the market that Capxx occupies is greatly expanding. I considered this a great thing - with Cap’s tech being top tier, this gives it the opportunity to grow with the market.

However, i’m going over one of Peter Lynch’s books and he makes a good point that is so elementary but that i had somehow failed to consider, that is that expanding markets draws in competition.

So far in this chat board, i have seen little reference to competing companies. I see a lot about what Cap is doing or needs to do but not much about the companies nipping at Cap’s heals

My concern is that too much weight has been given to Cap’s tech being the best meanwhile they are doing so little with it (so far), meanwhile the second best may be out there swallowing up market space.

It’s like Usain Bolt losing to the second fastest runner because he too busy stretching.

My next step is to do more research on Cap’s competition but i’d appreciate the thoughts of you gents on the subject too. I value the opinions i see on here.
