Bear in mind the state of the market(s) in general right now. Everything but oil is in the gutter. It doesn’t matter how good your fundamentals are if market sentiment is so negative towards everything. I’ve seen company with good results drop in price when they otherwise would see a rise

If you look at the price chart for a day, week and month (Not doing the Friends intro), it’s just heavily zigzagged up down up down. Does that indicate aggressive trading? I know Sushi would get a boner for constantly trading this so others might see this as a trading stock too.

But what time frame is GC working on? If he’s making good money elsewhere he can afford to wait another 5 years for Cap to get going. I have far less money to invest and want to know if i should come back to Cap in a couple of years and make money elsewhere in the meantime, or stick with Cap because kick off is around the corner.

I know they can only tell us so much but even optimistic me is starting to look elsewhere for opportunity

Looks like the entire market is going to get worse before it gets better. Volatility is not the measure of risk but uncertainty. If you are sure about your methods of valuation and prediction, the market is on sale and will soon be even cheaper.

With that said, i can’t decide if i should use this as an opportunity to buy more Capxx, or plough money in to high grow stocks that are selling for cheap. The benefit of the latter is that Capxx has such a long way to go that earning more money elsewhere means more money to put in to Capxx as it starts to take off.

Capxx was 13p a share when it had half of the potential it has now. Even if you bought back in at 13p a share, it would still grow substantially farther in my opinion.

As long as i’ve known you exist, you’ve been saying this and pretty much only this.

Seeing the entire stock market wet the bed, and good companies with good earnings news still lose share price, i have changed my mind on CapXX. I’ve spent years checking the SP daily, despairing at a glacial rise, but now i want the SP to stay low as long as i can have it. The lower it stays the more i can buy, all the while knowing Cap’s great potential. Of course there is a limit to that and we have to make money eventually.

I’ve been here a couple of years now. I think some of you will have “News is imminent” on your gravestone.

Debt free for now. They may need to borrow to keep afloat down the line and if their progress remains glacially slow it could spell trouble.

If we take this as a classic Lynch turnaround company, what are the opinions of you gent’s on the four questions (by my reading anyway) that Lynch used when assessing turnarounds. I have my own opinions but would like to compare them against those of more seasoned investors.

1. Can the business survive its debt?

2. Does it have enough cash to continue operations?

3. Is it cutting costs.

4. Is it taking steps to increase earnings.

PS. I’ve mentioned the advice of successful investors in the past and certain people got so indignant they nearly had an aneurysm. If you aren’t interested in Lynch, that’s fine. Just compare your investing record to his. I’m sure these same people scoff at Gordon Ramsey’s cooking technique and Mike Tyson’s boxing technique too.

Tech stocks in general are taking a kicking, despite lots of good news. Looks like an industry problem, not individual companies failing to perform.

Why do we think the SP is so low?

I’m invested in Capxx, Palantir, AMD and Amazon. They all 4 Sh*t the bed despite good results and all 4 have started to recover today at the same time. Coincidence?

I was up 20% yesterday, back down to 5% today. It’s getting increasingly hard to stay positive.
