Dividends..now there's a thought....that would be transformational. It would demonstrate cash generation beyond the immediate needs of the business for capital. Specific capital projects could then be funded by debt/placing.

Next forecast news is interims on the 28th. I think the reaction to the trading update was a tad harsh as many high quality companies have said much the came as CPX about the issues they faced both directly and with some customers delaying orders. Most of these problems are now being sorted and hopefully the outlook/order book statement is positive enough.

Americans just love celebs no matter who it is. So the likes of OJ Simpson and Musk will get off with the help of top lawyers.
The CPX case is not like this at all..it is a dry dispute about technicalities where the jury will take great note of the directions of the judge who has previously decided on the validity of the cpx patents. EM will NOT be appearing in court.

As it happens there is a new note out by the broker. Think you can access if you register with them. New TP of 8p from 13p...but I'm not overly bothered by that. See H1 as a bit of a blip with a range of one-off negatives which now appear to be mostly easing.

I believe it was a genuine mistake..ie they believe they have not lost any market share.

No sign of any new numbers from the two brokers...maybe they will wait till the results and then put out something. Seems like they were caught by surprise as well. There is a new doc in the legal case but don't think it amounts to much.
The shares will probably tread water till the results on Feb 28th.

But what does it achieve this group? What if you were to tell Kongats it is time to retire as he is utterly useless....would he take note and decide you were right?!

Not good but hardly the end of the world I guess. If no market share lost then it's general factors mostly outside their control which are to blame. And these are detailed. Still it's not what you want to read.

And can't see Elon Musk wanting to get involved in any more legal stuff. (Based on the counterparty to Cpx in the legal case is Tesla owned Maxwell). Reading some of his testimony in the Twitter case ..he comes across as a bozo. Obviously as one of the richest men in the world he isn't!

Yes he gets free holidays and travel as well. His main interest is in keeping that monthly cash coming in till there is nothing left. A disgrace.

Hopefully the brokers are promoting this share to their fund manager clients. It has been something of a serial disappointer and several potential big sales growth areas never came through eg Truckstart/use in credit and debit cards/mobile phones/Spire etc. But the market now seems to be there and even some of the past failures could be coming back.
With a market value of only £22m it could have the potential to be a 10 bagger. That will come now from a re-rating process linked to revenue growth moving the company into sustained profitability. A company like this should command a very high share multiple. Cash generation should mean there is now limited likelihood of dilution from new equity issuance.

Would you include the bearded one in that or others who have been and gone.

Very interesting but I don't think it quite compares with the Continental deal. To get that is an incredible validation of CPX technology as being a supplier into Tier 1 automotive as an OEM standard part is the ultimate recommendation.
Let's hope this momentum continues. I don't think the interims will be stellar but there should be plenty on the order position and outlook to keep people interested.

It would be nice if some fund managers saw the value here. Sentiment seems to be slowly but surely returning to the small cap space if the story is positive. Can see though why some may wait till the results in Feb ...but that is dangerous as the results/outlook will see an immediate 'mark up' meaning you pay more for your shares.

Fair comment but I thought that the market looked ahead by 18 months or so. When I look at some of the unmitigated dross with a market value higher than CPX it is all rather puzzling. Anyway there should be enough meat in the February interims, or more the outlook/order position, to propel the sp towards double figures..... for starters!

The ceo comes across as a revolting arrogant individual. The interview was telling. If he deals with commercial partners the same way then it is not surprising there will be little progress.

Let's hope so. I do have a good feel for the share price this year though on AIM much depends on sentiment which is still depressed. did I read worst performing market constituent in 2022.
Surely some fund managers are not all like sheep and can see a company on the verge of take off. Looking at Dutchman's summary there are some great wins. Maybe the standout is the Continental automotive application. Wonder what it is?
