Hi Tom E I'm not worried about anything as I'm not selling. Understand what you are saying, but that's the point I was trying to make that with all of the ills in the world I would have expected gold and gold miners to be flying. I just had a look at the trades and there are some that are being put into isas it's pretty obvious, but they are being reported as sells, even with that going on there are still more buyers than sellers. Just dirty MMs.

Akr40,another one for the bin. What I don't understand is the gold price has been going up this morning , but most gold miners are going down. I really don't understand what's going on here, is it just manipulation or something else? With the federal reserve printing money like mad and the dollar under pressure, you would expect a different outcome?

I trust no one when money's involved, especially MMs and traders. It's served me well in the past, and it's not a conspiracy theory it's a fact when you see the shenanigans that have gone on here in the past week.

Does make you wonder if it was by design or am I just being overly suspicious? Would make sense because if you divide you conquer and that would be a way of making the vulnerable or newbies panicked into selling, especially today with all of those orders to fill. They would have no way of getting reassurance which some tend to need.

I suppose the worst error made by me was to trust what CEO and Financial director was saying about a company called Valirax. They claimed that they were not far away from cures for different types of cancer. Having lost my wife to cancer a few years earlier I thought it would be a good thing to do to invest most of my private pension into this company. At one point I was 96% down, it has improved since they got rid of the old management and they are hopeful of a treatment for covid 19, so they may come good. Knowing what I know now it should have come here,but heyho.

That's precisely the point I was making, there is little point in even trying to predict something that we don't know enough about. We should leave it to the people who really know what's going on i.e. The BOD and Newcrest. They have served us well up until now, and I can't see that changing any time soon. How can you put a price on something that we don't know the true value of? Anyway for what we do know £3 billion seems about right, but there are still a lot of unknowns.
