Yes Elise, 17.9 has been noted by MM's so much so that when I tried a dummy sell the price was 13.3 HL were only offering 13.1, so I rang HL and had words. They assured me that was MM's not them, as I said to them I just needed to know who was robbing us because someone was. I wouldn't even think of selling anything at the moment, much better times ahead, but it's always good to know who the robbers are.

Schlemiel, you speak about people sitting on losses, but I think that it's more of a problem for people that are sitting on profits. Fear of losing your profits has got to be worse, you've already made that profit and the fear factor then kicks in, so you are more likely to experience the hesitation and fear associated with investing. I'm not in that category, but I can understand why people think that way. Most who do experience that feeling are probably over invested, as they always say only invest what you could afford to lose. In other words don't expect to live and pay your bills from investments, keep that money separate.

Well TMT,Warren Buffet agrees with you, unusually he has bought into Barrick Gold shares, normally doesn't touch gold in any form, but he has bought a shed load. He doesn't normally get it wrong, so happy days. In the process he has ditched most of his bank shares, so you could safely say that he is expecting a large downturn. I think that he has oil shares as well and I have been accumulating oil shares for a while now, while they are still cheap.

Likewise WF, still got a few, but it's the instability that makes you wary . If Hum was in a safer jurisdiction I would have kept more. I think I've done the right thing.

DGR1980 and Earthling, have just been reading your comments from yesterday, and it was never intended as a ramp for any stock that I hold. Just thought I would make that clear to you both, as these type of comments can be quite inflammatory and it's just not worth it. Hope that clears the air. Cheers.

Just a thought,maybe SB has invested in ECR, they look like the next good thing? Or KDNC maybe? Wherever he's gone I'm sticking here, plus other investments that I've had for a while now.

Don't really understand why some people on here are either influenced or worried what Steve Beetham says or does, it's his own choice. Follow your own strategies not others. He did say about investing in Ars, whether he did or not nobody knows or cares, but I will say that he did say he would sell @12p, so good luck to him. I have probably benefited from this manipulation, so not complaining. As regards to who bought his shares, he may have sold them indirectly to Newcrest or Rio through a holding company? Time will tell!
