Same sh.t different day. Not unexpected at all that's why I've been watching Cheltenham. I keep having a look now and then, but while this is going on it's just boring and predictable.

I've been in the chill out lounge this afternoon, watching Cheltenham done a 50p ew lucky 15 had the winner @ 33/1 in the 2.30, had the winner of the 3.05 @ 10/1, had 3 rd in the 3.40 @10/1 and in the 4.15 had the winner @ 14/1. Not a bad day at the office. Might buy some more of these shares tomorrow.

The one good thing about this board today is that without the normal amount of posts it's much less frantic and busy than normal. Usually it's so busy that as soon as you've read one lot of posts there's another lot waiting to be read. Calm prevails.

Morning judge, I was rather hoping for a much better deal than that after all this time, it hardly seems worth all of the pain and anguish for such a poor return. I'm prepared to wait for a deal, as long as it takes but please not such a paltry sum. I don't think the BOD would be too happy with a deal like that either. They did say that they expected to get the best deal for shareholders and I believe that's exactly what they will deliver. I'm reluctant to put a figure on it, but I just hope that it's going to be better than that or I will feel that I've been wasting my time and money being invested here.

Wouldn't they have to sell and then buy back? Or can they just buy the short?

Just makes me wonder who and why would anyone be selling (apart from shorters) after yesterday's RNS, just doesn't make sense?

Can anyone notice a strange smell, it's probably burning shorters or something similar.

Keith is also the wet nurse for all the bed wetters that need their hands held as soon as the share price drops.

Impecunious I think that you will find that the Bull Market is alive and kicking its just in pause mode at the moment, but likely to flare up at any time.

Hi kempey, I think that $15 billion is earmarked for investment in EUA, well that seems to be the thinking on the EUA board. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a joint bid coming in from AA and NN, because they wouldn't want to be left behind in PMG world.

I'm also a Solgold holder, I have contemplated selling for sometime now and putting the money in here, but I think it's good to have a foot in both camps just in case of a takeover. So for that reason I will stick as I am for now. Great results for GGP today very encouraging. I'm also in ECR think they will also do well this year.

For me it's GGP and ECR the next GGP in my opinion.

You'll know when the free float has dried up because the price will increase substantially from where it is now. So just keep buying when possible.

Three very good posts today above. It does actually help those who want to get more of these shares into their Isas in the new tax year having a lower share price, me included so it really doesn't bother me at all. There is always a positive to any negative situation,you just have to look for it.
