Addicknt I take your point, but I think you will find that the mining sector in general is affected mainly due to the Chinese ongoing spat with the Americans. Nothing to do with Ecuador, although in the future solgold and Ecuador could benefit from the situation if the Chinese refuse to supply the Americans with rare earth minerals.

Good morning everyone, well addicknt having just read through the RNS the grades look ok. As for your concerns regarding the government position, I understand that it can be a bit confusing but Solg has built up a good relationship with the government and hopefully the population in general, the people that are protesting are a noisy minority' which you always get in any society, you even get that on this board. I think that the government has and will in the future take solgold on trust as is usually the case in most projects that deliver a large amount of good quality jobs, and as long as solgold adheres to their part of the bargain I don't foresee any real problems.

We all know what we have here so in my opinion it's just a buy signal. Buy as many as you can, that's what l'll be doing to defeat these arseholes that want to keep shorting this stock. One of the best stocks on the market, you can't go wrong the cheaper the better. I bet BHP and Newcrest can't believe their luck, if they are buying there can't be too much wrong with the company, that's my view anyway.

There is nothing progressive about this company at all, just regressive. I gave up on them a long time ago, just a self serving bunch of tossers. Unfortunately I still hold here. Worst company ever.

Whichever way you want to try and gloss it over cp or jb it cuts no ice with me, unfortunately as bucklerfern says it is still a shit company and many people have lost a lot of money, while the bod have been creaming off the top. It seems to me that whatever I say that in your eyes I will still be wrong and of course you will still be right so there seems little point in further discussion. We are never going to agree on this situation so just leave it there, we all have our own opinions and I'm sure that yours won't change as will mine will not.

Well edgar it takes two to tango, I'm sure that the company could have done more to get the government to get its act together. The board of directors haven't minded getting paid huge salaries for doing next to bugger all in the last 3 years, it's not a bloody charity is it. Is that enough reality for you? As for the shares that I have invested in it's really got sod all to do with you. But I will tell you that when I invested in this company they seemed to be doing all the right things at the right time or that's how it appeared to be. But it just goes to prove that you can't always trust what some people say.

I stand by what i said on early Saturday morning and for the benefit of edgar222 what i was referring to is the demise in the share price which ultimately is the responsibility of the CEO and the directors. It's called the Buck stops there. Investing is usually associated with making a profit from your investment, occasionally you can lose a little bit, but I think over 90% is a little extreme, I'm so glad that I sold most of my holding at a small loss which has more than been recouped by another investment. The main reason for me selling most of my holding was that I had lost all confidence in the bod and just think that the zubs have probably got the best part of the deal, just feel that we have been sold out here. To put it bluntly this bears no resemblance to the company that I originally invested in, and to say that I'm bitterly disappointed doesn't begin to cover it. Perhaps some on here don't mind losing their money, but I'm not one of them and I don't care who knows it. There are some on here that prefer to arse lick the company and not complain when things go wrong and things have definitely gone wrong here. I still have a small holding here and I live in hope that the new CEO can turn this situation around in double quick time.

I would never wish anyone any ill, but I'm of the opinion that this company has been travelling in the wrong direction for a long time now, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise that Jay has moved aside and let someone else take the strain. It's obviously not doing Jay's health any good and at the same time it's not doing any good for the company or for shareholders, so maybe best all round that he has quit. I've thought for some time now that this company has been badly mismanaged and now we know why. I hope Jay has a full recovery from whatever ails him, but the fact remains that in business there can be no room for sentiment no matter what the circumstances are, if the man is not fit enough then for the job then he should be replaced with someone that is.

Oh by the way Bigbench don't forget that other investment that has massive potential, Matd, that's my biggest investment at the moment. If there is one to stretch your patience that is it, but I still believe it will come good.

Another top payer I was invested in was Sibir Energy, does anyone remember them? They were very good.

I remember it well, i was a Dana shareholder and also Emerald energy good times. It helped to buy my house and gave me some memorable holidays. I have no doubts whatsoever that a similar scenario is evolving here, all everybody needs is the patience and the will to hold on to what you have and to top up where you can, simples.

I would just like to say thanks for posting the video aandi. I can't think of a more exciting time to be invested here, there should be news coming out of their ears in the next few weeks and months. Newcrest seem to be as excited about havieron as the rest of us.

I noticed that Buys are recorded as sells, I know because I've just bought some more of these shares and it seems like the MM's are playing their pathetic games again. This share is going to rocket at some point, so will just have to sit and be patient, with the oil price going up it's only a matter of time.
