Well, here's my latest instalment of "hawky's update" I'm very very pleased this is playing out exactly how I said it would, even the "mini bounce" happened as I predicted. We can safely assume now that my "bust by Easter" is spot on, as IOF have not addressed the current SP. Even the most loyal ramper would have to admit that the deafening silence has more or less "admitted defeat". Put it this way, if I was CEO of a listed company whose SP was telling the Market "it is going bust", then I'd make pretty darn sure I'd release a detailed update complete with financial status, strategic review and current cost per production and margins to reassure the Market that the business is a going concern with nothing to worry about. But nothing. Appalling "management" .... no other words for it. Strong sell PS - Still holding out for 33p, tutty?

Yes, chicky is quite a sad case. I always have a chuckle remembering how she advised folk to filter me when I said this would crash to the teens, then she goes and sells up at 14p - lol! Then of course toshy with his buys -v- sells analysis, and aimless claiming to have "observed" this BB for months without ever having an interest .... how odd, but then again he thinks IOF's SP "keeps on going up". Oh yes, a very comical carry on here. Infact, IOF itself is very much like a "carry on" film, Carry On Screaming springs to mind. Oh, and IOF haven't submitted Hekking's resignation with Companies House yet, or his appointment, or Coddington.s resignation. Haven't even given notice of when they'll release the results, when the majority of December year end companies have had theirs done and dusted by now. Very very good post, Dav. It's quite obvious "the socks" are up to their necks in this, but are too embarrassed to admit it, even though they "trip themselves up" on a regular basis. Not the brightest bulbs! "hawky's update": exceptionally weak on Level 2. A handful of mugs still thinking they're getting a bargain are stopping this collapsing .... the MMs are playing a blinder. Continued big spread and huge overhang. IOF still not showing their hand, most likely because it's a bad one. Nearly 3 months "after the event" yet still haven't released the 2015 figures. Wow, I've really got under the skin of some! Try anger management classes, guys! IOF weakens still further. The writing is on the wall. Still no sign of the year end accounts and it'll be extremely likely they'll be qualified on going concern issues if the bonds haven't been renegotiated. So will it be a heavily discounted share conversion at, say, 2p per share creating approx 700 million extra shares? Or will the accounts be qualified smashing their credit score when it's likely even standard trade suppliers will cease giving credit? Rock and a hard place, chaps. Yes, some very bitter rampers on here. They should look in the mirror rather than blaming others for their own stupidity. Anyway, I've been doing some more research into the CFO resignation. In the past, IOF "stalwart" Mike Coddington has always stepped in when there's been a finance reshuffle .... early 2014 for example. And when Hekking jumped on board: "In conjunction with today's appointment, Michael Coddington, who has held the position of Finance Director since April 2014, steps down from the Board but remains at the Company working alongside the senior team in a Finance Controller capacity." So why when Hekking jumped off again did we have this: "Mr. Malcolm Lewin, who has worked with Iofina on previous finance-related and AIM projects and is based out of the UK, has been appointed as Interim CFO and a non-Board position, to ensure continuity." Eh? Looks like they've appointed an "outsider" (aka "who has worked with Iofina on previous finance-related and AIM projects"), so you would have thought the best "continuity" would be to have Coddington save the day again. Has he also left? If not, why wasn't he re-elected? Yet more questions. Yet more smoke and mirrors. Yet another can of worms. Strong sell

Well, I did warn that the MMs were sucking folk in with the huge spread and I was right. A large number of buyers piled in at 8p to 8.5p and are already faced with a loss of up to 20%. A failed "bull raid" which could now see a serious fall to 5p, and that's BEFORE a possible horror RNS. It's about time people started respecting my contributions and admit I'm calling it right rather than gnashing their teeth, getting angry, and trying to stick the boot in. Strong sell

Certainly MMs playing games the past couple of days ..... reasonably high volume for such a moribund stock, but they've kept the spread ridiculously high suggesting that this fleeting "bull raid" has been easily fed by a large background seller, just like I've already pointed out. And now there are a cluster of short term buyers who tried to outwit the Market but are now lumbered with rubbish shares ..... all set up for a spectacular crash when the panic selling starts. Listen to hawky, I've constantly called this correct and will continue to do so. Just a question now of when IOF will update the Market. Surely it must be soon ....... even the most blinkered ramper would secretly admit that the deafening silence is unacceptable given the current SP pointing to serious going concern issues. Only an IOF investor could spin an 8p SP as "going up", lol. Sums up their "intelligence" ..... or lack of! Interesting to note they still haven't lodged Hekking's resignation with Companies House (or indeed his appointment, lol!). Infact they haven't even submitted Coddington's resignation ..... not getting the basics right, shambolic, they've given up. Still no CFO replacement, still not addressing the SP collapse to "going bust status", still haven't told their shareholders when to expect the final accounts, still no strategic review promised in the Autumn of 2014 (lol), still no shareholding re the CEO, still no mobile plants per 2014 preview (lol). What a god awful "investment". Fully explains why this dog has crashed to 8p, and that's still too high ..... by 8p! Shares are worthless IMO. Strong sell

Good call, Dav. The big spread is sucking them in which is setting this up for a big fall as they'll struggle to trade out. Classic example of MMs playing the mugs, it's cruel to watch but at the same time extremely funny. Also had a cheeky chuckle to see the frenzied excitement that 8p has been breached, especially after the same rampers rubbished my delightfully accurate call this would fall through the teens and lower. Also had a good laugh at one of them (can't remember which one ) saying he's going to net a 3 grand profit. Wow! I've made multiples of that shorting this dog. Spend your money wisely (if indeed you do make it), on something like a clapped out 2nd hand car, lol. hawky update: still no takers on the vacant CFO position and IOF still not revealing their financial position suggests we're getting close to that final nail in the coffin, guys. Well said, Dav. I see the SP "surged" 14% yet the spread was 23%. You can hear the MMs laughing from here. Really sucking in the mugs. They don't want any stock, because as I've already pointed out, there's a constant supply in the wings. Is it Baller ditching his remaining 4.5 million? If it is we may never know, as he has a tendency to "forget" to tell the Market like he did with his first 4.5 million dump. The end is nigh guys. Strong sell

There you go again, aimless, "playing the poster" rather than "playing the post". This is an IOF discussion board and we're supposed to be discussing the investment potential (or not) of IOF, and seeing as I've called this absolutely spot on so far I have nothing to prove. It does seem the aforementioned discussion, however, is slightly one sided at the moment, as the pro-IOF camp have nothing constructive to say. Even toshy has grown tired of his fascinating insight (NOT!) regarding the daily buys-v-sells analysis. Well, I'll tell you today's, toshy ....... 4 sells -v- a big fat zero buys. Some excellent posts there, Dav. I see the socks are getting more aggressive as IOF's silence lingers on. Going into month 3 after the year end and still no sign of when they'll release the annual figures. Same old same old. I also warned that there are one or more huge sellers in the wings with a seemingly never ending supply. They appear to be soaking up short term speculators and long term mugs. And to add to the impending carnage, those short termers will most likely bottle it at the hint of even a small gain so not doing much for the SP's stability. Not a great strategy, buying very high risk shares for what is essentially a low risk return. Still a question of whether IOF will take the "slow death" route of announcing one plant moth balling after another and squander what's left of Panacea's bond (what mugs they were!), or just throw the towel in altogether. But the huge intra-day spread would mean the "real" rise doesn't equate to anywhere near the 18% "official" mark up as some so ignorantly assume. It's bid against offer, see? Listen guys. Why on earth you are directing your anger and venom at me I don't know. I've been polite giving hard factual research, so why be so personal? IOF is in a deep hole ...... 5p, 6p 7p, 8p ........ even the teens. It all points to a "going bust" valuation. .... interesting to see the day's top loser, Stanley Gibbons, include this in their update: "The Group is also announcing today the appointment of BDO Limited as auditors following the resignation of the current auditors because they consider the risks and uncertainties associated with the audit to exceed the level that they are willing to accept." Now .... IOF's auditors are Baker Tilly who aren't exactly "blue chip", added to the fact that they came under great criticism from the FRC a couple of years ago for their "continuing deficiencies in the quality of its audit work discovered as part of an inspection by the profession's watchdog." : http://www.accountancyage.com/aa/news/2340768/baker-tilly-criticised-over-deficient-audit-work With IOF looking in a bit of a mess with no CFO, going concern issues, and $20 million bonds shortly to be due in less than a year, I reckon the auditors will be a bit jittery to say the least, especially with the FRC on their case. It fills me with great pleasure that some are willing me to "trip up" and even create multiple avatars to that effect, the latest being "newbie" aimlesspunter (very apt nik for an IOF investor), another member of the "silent majority" who's no doubt been "biting his lip" for some time. Well, "intra day" guesswork adds to the fun and games, but the real meat in the sandwich is the "calculated research" which supports my theory that IOF will certainly go bust. And still no sign of serious investors piling into a company which has invested $20 million in plants they claimed would provide a payback of between 18 months to 3 years, when in reality those same plants are rusting away ..... 5 plants when they said the bonds would pay for twice that. Do the math. IOF has failed badly and will shortly become AIM's latest victim. Strong sell

It's a total gamble now, thesonandheir (and Sharetrooper121). It "could" bounce netting a lucky gain, but it certainly won't be "easy" as Borotosh suggests. And the big spread makes it even more tricky. In my mind I'm 100% certain this will go bust, even tho' my earlier suggestion of "bust by Easter" may come too soon. The company is badly managed and the business model is badly flawed. Plus the low iodine prices are literally finishing them off - I'm guessing they'll be paying the brine suppliers approx $7 per kg royalties, and the listing costs and over a million dollars a year interest are adding to the burden. I wouldn't be surprised if they are currently operating on a negative gross margin. They're not revealing their cash position so it's just a guessing game as to how much of Panacea's bond they have left - could last another week, could last another month, could last another 3 months - the traders are risking a "sudden" RNS which will immediately put this to rest. Also for me Hekking's departure has confirmed my own suspicions - directors who resign "with immediate effect" usually do so under acrimonious circumstances - a more gracious way of leaving would be to work out one's notice ensuring a smooth handover. I don't buy the excuse as being due to family health reasons. Too "drastic" and too much of a coincidence. Added to all of the above, there is no way this would be "allowed" to sink to a sub £9 million market cap if it was a going concern. Yes, it's nailed on going down the pan. Strong sell

I warned several months ago to keep an eye out for director resignations. And hey presto, hawky was right. 5 weeks to go before my "bust by Easter" suggestion. Will be a tight call, but don't rule out a "gradual demise" with a plant closure being the next port of call. A convenient scapegoat. And still no sign of IOF revealing their financial position which one would have thought necessary given the current collapse. 'Nuff said. How many more warning signs do you need? Strong sell
