It has been interesting to see some good quality buy orders going through over the past few days, however the persistence of the selling interest (outweighing buys) points to a steady unwind of a large(ish) position. With no RNS announcement it strikes me we could be dealing with a swap seller where we'll hear about the reduction/disposal later, if that's indeed still legal ? Either way I suggest buyers watch and wait from the sidelines as feels like 250p is where real support comes in, ho hum until then... In the meantime Atmel are having a competition to entice designers to the XSense product, nice idea but doesn't fill one with confidence that they're making headway with material interest does it ? http://www.atmel.com/about/news/release.aspx?reference=tcm:26-52215

I tend to agree with the view that we haven't seen the bottom yet, there's an undisclosed seller out there who seems far from finished... Weakness will therefore persist until a new size buyer (pref insto) is found by the likes of Liberum, or suitably bullish news is delivered from Atmel re: new orders/ramping of production. It's sit tight until then, ho hum... Re: Blackrock, their short may have been crossed in-house which could explain some of the big prints that went through at 291.5 last week.

Usually disclosure comes following day or so, odd, no ?
