Shares are, once again, heavily oversold from a technical perspective, the RSI is now turning up, looks like the tide may be about to turn.

Some form of news next week anyone?

Historically the XTR AGM has been combined with Tiger Royalties (TIR) their AGM has been announced for 21st June.

The situation at OMI since the drop from 40p has been the same many times over, you simply cannot buy as they drop it, they cut off online buying every time, it stinks, someone is making a load of cash out of this manipulation.

Almost certainly city spivs (most likely TP) working in cahoots with a market maker(s) these guys know when news is coming in advance and can operate freely as a result.

They basically want you to sell, further depressing the price but not allowing buyers in creates a false market, manipulation at it's best.

From 42p to 15p on what ??

I really do not see the constant selling of OMI coming from private investors, I am deeply suspicious of the broker (TP) they were appointed on 30th November.

It is a known fact brokers run short books on many of the companies they supposedly support, TP are no angels in my view and I would not be surprised if they are short OMI. Question is are the BOD smart or interested enough to screw these entities by way of saying no to any early request to provide future funding (it would enable any short to be closed)

To answer my own question I feel the BOD would not be interested, I have come across Castro at another company and he did not impress me one iota.

I bought OMI after the drop from 42p to 23p buying again below 20p, to be honest expected a rebound by now, at least into the 20p's - it has not happened and I am deeply suspicious as to the reasons why.

Directors of junior companies do not have a clue as to what goes on in the city, some brokers are FAR better than others.

The free float is tiny and the shares move quickly on thin volumes. I expect to see a material increase in volume ahead of expected news due shortly.

The current work programme could / should add significant value, has the potential to increase production by at least one third, not currently factored into the share price, current £28m valuation is very low.

No wonder people are adding in anticipation of good news.

There appears to be some stability around current levels in the share price, they are actually bidding quite hard for stock right now.

I think it is pretty safe to say a floor has been reached, no wonder given the drop from 42p.

With news expected it seems a good time to add or buy in, this stock has historically rallied hard.

So the consensus seems to be there are very few shares to be flipped at current levels, I would not expect any serious new flipping until the bid reaches 6.25p, so from current levels there is a prospective 40% upside.

Interesting to note that there were only 100,000 shares available at full offer towards the close, I believe there remains a serious buyer sitting in the background accumulating, more large late declared buy trades also.

In respect of warrants I looked recently, there are very few outstanding below the current market price, I do not see this small number effecting a rise back to 5p-6p based on the technically oversold position.

There were 27m issued at 1.85p on 30th September, the rest are issued to the brokers, namely 8m at 1.2p - of the 27m at 1.85p some have already been converted.

Recent warrant issues are far higher up - 54m at 8.5p

As I pointed out over the weekend the stock was heavily oversold to the point of being ludicrous, the RSI was at a 3 year low, even now it sits at just 35, it is still oversold.

Selling at current levels seems bonkers, a rally back to 5p-6p is more likely in the short term IMO.

Looks like circa £130,000 of shares have been bought in 3 tranches from Friday - someone seems to be loading up at current levels, would not be surprised to see a small boutique fund active or is a larger entity building a position, no TR1's from the placing to date but nothing new there, the 'rules' are regularly ignored.

Can see further gains ahead, the shares remain oversold, RSI still only 35.

Nothing available online right now with IG, they want 4.18p for just 100,000 shares, it does seem that games are being played by the market makers.

When asked about Jubilee v Xtract Colin Bird said he feels Xtract should be giving Jubilee a run for its money on it's current £400m market cap - Bird continues to remain very bullish on copper & clearly thinks XTR is significantly undervalued.

The RSI is now at a 3 year low now, historically there have been strong bounces from these materially oversold levels, the placing was completed at 4.5p, worth noting that during the drop many have reported it has been hard to buy.

One can draw one's own conclusions as to why the share price has dropped to these levels on relatively low volume, one thing for sure is if volume increases it will be very difficult to buy large lines of stock around the lows, it seems many that have sold believe they can buy back lower but will they be able to, unlikely IMO.

More good news, the deposit is clearly commercial and very likely to meet the desired resource number to trigger the Anglo buyback option.

Bird continues to remain very upbeat, the clue is he recently bought 1m more shares at 5.7p, thrifty Northerners are not known to throw money away are they !

I listened to the Mineprophets 1 hour podcast with Colin Bird today, it was recorded last July, without elaborating on missed production timelines at Manica one aspect stood out given the Aussie copper project.

Bird said, quite clearly, that a 1m tonne copper resource would attract interest from majors, this was before the recent surge in the copper price.

Whilst the focus is on AA and a 2m tonne resource the above is worth bearing in mind, in other words if AA don't want the project then it is nigh certain someone else will.
