This info is already priced into Falcon’s share price. With origin investor day upcoming, and FOG stock stagnant, I’m totally unsurprised to read this link.
Hopefully Origin will tout Beetaloo further at their investor event.
BC - don’t worry: we’re flaring, per Orson. And JF in the Irish pub hearing positive rumblings. Meanwhile, Newt is aware of a forced buyer who will drive the price higher!
All good. Nothing cliche-ish about at all about this chat board. ;)
BCnatgas, I agree 100%. Most chat boards are filled with blind positivity. Especially this board One time, Newtfo claimed “my sources tell me that there’s a forced buyer, and this buyer will start purchasing shares next week”.
Newtfo’s posts are trash, inaccurate at best and intentionally misleading at worst. She and Orson are no longer welcome on this board.
The only real poster is Schlmel, who submits good articles.
If flaring is NOT considered as such, then O’Quigley could simply tell one of us, right? If it IS material, he’d issue a NR? (I’d hate to inconvenience the poor guy).
A poster summarized Orson’s recent “predictions” and “intel”. Orson: your track record is awful. A 0% batting average my friend. Consider applying for an executive role at US political polling agencies. You’d fit in well. Meantime: you’re FILTERED!! :)
Orson, There are 3 cliche “rumor types” in any small cap chat board. I genuinely hope yours isn’t one of them. They are:
1) “I heard that my Biotech stock is getting getting FDA approval next week”.
2) “I’ve heard my oil exploration stock just had a massive flare”
3) “I’ve heard there’s an institution who is forced to cover their short by end of next week”.
If tangible updates were mentioned at the conference, the stock price would reflect it. Origin’s upcoming Investor Day is D-day for Falcon holders. Mark my words. D-day meaning stock will rise 100% or fall 50%.
I respect your reply. I’ve never spoke to O’Quigley.
One important correction to your post: if you invested in 2009, then you had your eye on a DIFFERENT asset (Mako). The asset changed to Beetaloo after you invested.
You wrote that “our leadership sucks at communicating”. Yet you seem to accept it as a minor inconvenience? It is NOT acceptable, especially given O’Quigley’s high compensation. CEO’s can’t control the geology, but they can control communications.
Philip O’Quigley’s performance as CEO is disgraceful.
POQ should add a blog page to Falcons website. Should include links to pertinent articles like the Jemena pipeline, NT Conference. What’s the downside? I’m hesitant to inconvenience POQ... the man shouldn’t have to work more than 90 minutes per day.
Thanks Orson. I realize that Philip is busy writing vague, poorly worded PR‘s, and busy actively avoiding all investors and industry conferences. But you’d think Philip could find time - amongst his slew of highly value-add activities - to post info such as NT Resource Week agenda to Falcon’s website!
What compensation does POQ receive on a “per hour actually worked” basis? He’s a very well-paid man, who has never purchased one share of Falcon in the open market... which, in hindsight, makes POQ a very SMART man.
Origin Investor Day is Nov 25-26. Barring a macro COVID-induced market meltdown, this event may well be the day we’ve been anticipating. The unveiling of Beetaloo results!!
Unlike AGM, this months’s investor mtg is analyst based and not hijackable by political activists.
IF no news is delivered on/before Nov 25, then we’ve got problems.
