Motif sp and volume are significantly up today which bodes well for here tomorrow.
RNS obviously has been received positively by both markets.
We need more trading volume here too to push the sp forwards.

Barrick and Rangold merger in January ,Barrick sp from January until Mid May hardly moved but only after Gold price started to go up After Mid May to peak with the current high sp of Barrick as with other big Gold mines. Rangold was a great company headed by MR then and struck a good deal with Barrick for Rangold shareholders benefit then but now he is at the helm with Barrick and we all witnessed how he tried to deal with ACA in a very underhanded way and basically not in our minority shareholders interests. I do not think he has been fair with ACA and definitely if he managed to swallow ACA I would never keep Barrick in my portfolio on principles.
Independent ACA to continue trading as previously would be my preference but this might not take place with MB at Barrick and the present GOT.
Lesson learnt not to invest in that continent and more specifically in Tanzania once this saga ends.

I really feel if Barrick succeeds in swallowing ACA ,we will lose as I do not think they will offer the fair value for ACA growth or increasing reserve of Gold. Barrick with MB at the helm are not on our side unless they up the offer well above £4 a share taking into account the current Gold price. I prefer the negotiation with GOT or arbitration routes. I am prepared to wait and treated fairly rather than be cheated and forced to be robbed by intimidation and fears. The game is now very different from a year ago or even a few months ago. We hold the strong hand now. Yes the market will gyrate the sp but ultimately will settle much higher .

First I congratulate my joint winner Rangor and would like to give him the honour of FC long speech!
For me I always believed in G ....it has everything any investor wish to invest in and keep faith.

GOT in a hole but I hope they stop digging.
If the inspection goes well and export resumes then it means they are realising that ACA is not giving in and want to signal cooperation for future negotiations which is positive.
The second scenario is to keep digging and makes life more difficult for ACA or at least they may think so but In reality ACA case in Arbitration will be strengthening.
I think scenario one is more probable than the second to open the door for the two parties to sit and makes agreement.
For us ..is a win win situation comes what may .....in spite of sp volatility goes with uncertainty in the coming days.
Barrick wants ACA and needs it . It will pay the minority shareholders on what it looks a good price as it appears to me they are in collusion with the GOT to swallow ACA.

I managed to speak over the phone to Paul Mcmanus (managing Director of Walbrook PR related to Motif) for good 15 minutes this morning. I am more positive that motif is not going under and they are continuing in talking to different interesting parties including bigger one for further development of products.
Motif is gathering more information and expertise opinion before meeting the fda before September 2019. The time scale will be similar to the previous meeting which took place before with the fda and definitely before Cash run out.
The impression I gathered from him we are far away from going bust and in fact it seems that they are not that concerned about raising funds..
He admits the disappointment of the current sp when I raised the issue but did not give me the impression that we are near oblivion’s end but exactly the opposite.
Holding strong and more positive than ever.

You are missing the point...it is the connection to big boys and his background with SG.
The appointment of Andrew Powell ...all are relevant to the success of motif.

I am not sure if Directors of nasdaq listing can buy their shares directly?
No certainty here ..from my side.

Just to add that Motif product Iclaprim is an optimised analog of the commonly used prescribed antibiotic Trimethoprim (Tablets) for over 50 years and is one of most successful antibiotics for treating urine infection short and ,long term prophylaxis for recurrent urinary infection and sometimes for chest and other infection but not for intravenous.
Iclaprim is not completely unknown identity and will be approved hopefully sooner than later as the needs for it is dire to save lives and cut medical hospital costs.

Well trading volumes on the increase and more large buyers coming in so maybe we are beginning to see changing trends of sp direction.

So our loss in motif may turn to be a bigger loss for him or the Hedge fund company he worked for.
You can see why he will try his utmost to save motif! And see value from its success .
Or tries other avenues to make it a success or catastrophic results to him and his reputation.
Hedge funds are ruthless in managing money and if you look at Sand Grove website..you will realise how experienced and qualified the top people there.

A lot of things here are connected and relevant to know. Hence Andrew Powell has joined in April .
It is only my humble view that motif is well connected and supported and not going bust.

Not sure if you know that GL used to work for Sand Grove Capital Management and they own a huge no. Of motif shares now...and he may have a direct or indirect interest in these shares.
