Sad to see JL leaving..great person to have here and really wish him a better investment luck.
Leem1 has been frustrated for a while and sorry you are leaving too with happier choice of investing in the future.

For me I see G as business as usual and still solid investment with its paying dividends now and expected more future investment growth with the trusted new ceo.
I have no intention of selling any share of mine and even with a short term investment we will have 5 years span !
I may add if sp dips much further but I don’t see this at all as it is now well underpinned and the only way is up with time.

Today I put my money in PDL after reading their latest amended rns again and again then looked deeper in their diversity of assets in many countries. Their denial of intentions for raising funds reassured me that the downside if any from this sp level is limited. It seems worth more as a recovery stock. Shorters were at play today and I took the advantage of the volatility .Price paid 10.43 p....
Still holding aca ....not selling any now. I agree with the rest who are still invested here that game is not over and sp still has further to go and safely underpinned.

The market almost always right and very efficient in responding to company news.
The RNS is very positive and explained well the reasons Hercules postponement of the loan.
They must have something reassuring to announce before the 1/9. Hence the big positive of share price response . All makes sense and building blocks continue.
Expect the SP moving up fast in the coming weeks if the gains hold today.

Looking at today PDL (petra) with the management updated rns is a completely different and better clearer picture for the company balance sheet and outlook in comparison to the one issued recently for the FY results. PDL looks very different and maybe now considered a recovery stock.
Bad and vague recent rns gave me a gloomy picture and obviously had to be rectified today .
My last post was based on their recent rns and vague outlook with doubt in managing their debts but the rectified rns today gave a better outlook. Good luck

Not advising to sell or buy but just what I know..
Petra in huge debt and not managing it well at present and rumours are rife of fun raising at lower price than the current sp.
Their revenue is falling in the last five years .
Their Quick Ratio just about 1
Share price is prone to further falls in the coming weeks if funds raising take place.
Current sp is low for a good reason imo.

Can somebody tell us of the current institutional investors holders in G? Percentage?

Whatever we say here about MB dealing with Aca ...I am for one say he snapped Aca to benefit Barrick and not us Aca holders. For Barrick it was a bargain but on our expense. Aca management did have choice but to succumb as the GOT negotiation routes were closed and Arbitration was my preferred way but rather risky.
I feel sad in spite of making a decent profit but my prize was dented and feel cheated as I was forced to accept much smaller one.
Do I blame MB ...yes as he could have negotiated on our behalf as Barrick is the biggest shareholders of Aca but he did not and went only to negotiate to promote his reputation in the industry and win for Barrick but ditched us all.

About a third passes FDA approval process after phase3 trial.
More interesting is the fact ...through out the process from phase1 to the end of phase3 only 14% managed to get approved by the FDA.
Looking at motif now ,it seems ridiculous to think of what they achieved of successes so far of all trials to talk about motif going bust...because of a small amount of funds raise and minor debt but not looking at the huge potentials motif can creat. Big partner in the wings imo.

I don’t see the FDA requirement onerous on motif when you look at Iclaprim previous trials results and that is why they were encouraged by the fda to carry on as they intended to approve it asap.
The number requirement should be minimal in hundreds rather than thousands.
Motif already in phase3 trial did near the 600 patient so really we are not far from reaching the fda approval.
Cost of a new drug to get fda approval over $1B so it does not make sense to think funding a new trial is a problem at this stage for a relatively small sum to be rewarded massively with the high possibility of fda approval.

Length of Study: Several months
