The RNS with its partial response announcement is good but more significantly is if the tumour regression is consistent…regression continues…..or tumour has been destroyed totally.
This is then becoming a breakthrough therapy, otherwise there are many available treatments now do cause tumour regressions initially then fail to be affective later on.
The main issues with cancer cells are they are immortal, mutate into different DNAs compositions to adapt and become resistant to treatments and succeed to overcome human body..
The normal cells simply are mortal ,they grow older and die while the cancer cells do exactly the opposite and that it’s why curing cancer is a “mission impossible “.
Luckily we currently have treatments to cure certain types of cancers when treatment starts at mainly initial stage…
Pre clinical trial in mouse was a great success by sclp but it will be more relevant to replicate the same results in humans , and many pre clinical trials successes failed to achieve the same in humans trials…
We hope sclp will succeed ..time will tell
