Last time I sold some on a Friday a surprise RNS came out on the Monday and the share price doubled. Hoping same will happen Monday and those being horrid on here are caught out.

I know it works and I hope it recovers and does well. The fundraise at 50p to me was a bad sign. They were likely negotiating this for a while hence the decline over weeks and that is all the Institutional investors were prepared to pay at this stage. Hopefully as the trial progresses and the data continues to be excellent as it has been then the share price will rise but I think it is a long road to recovery.

Wow! You must be well pi55ed off. I’m about 30k and so annoyed. Lost all confidence doubt this will recover any time soon so only left 10% here just incase.

As a LTH of four years I’m quite sad that I sold half my holding today to de-risk. Although the data and science is amazing the trust has gone so I have made the decision to cut my losses. I still have a fair bit here because I hope this will replace Dox and give hope to anyone diagnosed with the big C.

Being lied to and this leak of a placing is atrocious! Why did they not do the placing earlier when the share price was stable? It should have been done at least 95p when it was over subscribed? I have been a LTH for 4 years because I have fully researched Avacta and believe in their technology and hope for the sake of people suffering with cancer that they will be successful. I still hope and believe that their platform will be successful so that we all have hope if we ever have the unfortunate C diagnosis. However from a business perspective the CEO is not competent. Funds should have been raised for the expected future costs of the trial when the share price was much higher.

Been here for more than 3 years. I am, like most LTH, disappointed with the current SP given the fact that there has been so much progress and success with AVA6000 alone. I really expected it to be much closer to £2 at this stage. I believe eventually true value will be realised and I intend to hold until it is.

Just watched World War Z. Since science day this board has been over taken by zombies. So many negative newbies. I’ve been here 3 years and am well researched in the Company. I am immune to this shhh..it. Don’t let them take your shares.

I wouldn’t read too much into it. From personal experience, when you are seriously ill, the first things to go are your hair and nails because your body is using all of it’s resources on where it is needed the most. I lost most of my hair and I didn’t have cancer.

We don’t all make decisions based on our emotions. The majority have a long term plan. This share and others are “part” of that plan. It is good to diversify. Even some fund managers have shares in this “crap shoot” of a share as you call it. Why are you here every day if it is so crap. We don’t need your advice.

So we are all gamblers and need help Wyndum? Including Buffet, Terry Smith and the likes. We all need help. Thank you for your wise words. It may apply to some traders and you may be describing yourself but I consider my share picks part of my long term investment strategy.

I have only just gone blue today and 1.72 % up after waiting almost a year. Don’t take my happy day away with this talk of a retrace. I would like to savour this moment a while longer :)

Still here, very underwater. Mostly in my pension, so will be holding my breath for a while yet. Not concerned as I am confident it will come good eventually. Good luck to all. I do hope those that gloat get a taste of their own medicine very soon though.

I think those who bought in because of the technology are still here. I am sure that Baille Gifford and Conifer are not worried either. We will get there eventually. In the meantime this board is full of short term traders. Good luck to them but they won’t be getting any of my shares.

Sadly my partner’s mum didn’t make it. She was too weak to be accepted onto the trial.
Her funeral was today.
It was a beautiful sunrise this morning. Money is not everything. Life is more precious. You must take a positive out of every sad day. I hope that Avacta bring hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

I have persuaded my partner’s mum to sign up for it, hopefully, but she may not be eligible because she is quite frail. No harm in trying though. She has nothing to lose.

Yes, she did perk up when I explained it uses the same drug as the current chemotherapy but does less damage and is 18 times more effective. She is 81 though so may take a bit more persuading.
