Hopefully shorts closing and buys being reported as sells due to the bid/ask. The only explanation of sells at these levels is shorting that I can think of no one can be making money by selling at 3.6/3.8. Once they are all closed this should move up and then the placing shares will get flipped for a bit of profit and then it should move up again. Just need some positive news to blast away the shorts. Just my opinion but we have seen it before where there is a sudden dip below the placing price and then rises out the other side up and above the placing. I would rather the gas field acquisition doesn't go through and we could then concentrate on Balcombe and Brockham.

here after seeing the news. It has stunk for a while now and guessing where the bottom is, is anyone's guess. Wish I had the bravery to sell previously and buy back in at the bottom but I thought with the delist imminent that the worse was over, how wrong was I. Starting to think a takeover is well on the cards now at a shitty low ball price. Best wait for it to bottom out and load up, this SP doesn't do current production, assets and potential production justice.

I agree low expectations, good results is the best way to go but doesn't fit the day traders hype agenda. Once the shorts and panic sellers at a loss are done this should make it's way back up.

All they can do with Brockham is do their best to get it flowing well. LL does seem to be much more reserved and managing expectations which is good. What I do know is that at 4p the shares will get flipped and changed hands into more sticky ones and we will see a nice rise at some point back over 5p.

Nope no UKOG for me just just due to the fact that Sanderson dilutes even more than Angus do. I don't honestly know why BP left the Weald. Could have been many reasons, such as too tight regulations/planning, easier to do it in the sea where there were no local planning committees, big company not wanting bad PR in the UK by drilling in people's back gardens, underestimating the potential of the Kimmeridge due to old modelling techniques compared to now, bigger fish to fry elsewhere in the world....... the list goes on but why would Sanderson be buying up all of the Weald he could as quickly as possible if there was no potential in it?

What is your agenda here? At least have a balanced point of view. How come UKOG have announced commercial sustainable flows? Do some research before you spout this crap.

Just out by Angus clearing up all the uncertainty about no hydrocarbons and water isolation. As i said all is going to plan as per schedule.

Again I don't know what amazing news you lot are expecting but if there is an RNS coming after hours or tomorrow morning, all it's likely to say is "stage 1 completed, well testing equipment now booked, site getting prepped for flow testing".

You all need to calm down and follow the schedule Angus have given us. Do not jump to conclusions just because you are getting impatient. Everything so far is on track and I'm sure when Angus have some relevant information they will let us know. I think we will be updated that stage 1 has been completed soon. I've been waiting ages for flow testing at Brockham so a couple of days here or there isn't going to matter and yes will still be weeks until it's flow tested.

Indeed I can verify they are buys as I just topped up at 4.0377p. Now just got to sit and wait for the MM's to raise the bid/ask over the next few days/weeks.

Some of the posts on here today are laughable. New shares listed tomorrow and then Angus will start pumping out the updates to churn the placing shares and move the SP up again. DL will either be long gone with his cash or just holding until things improve such as Brockham flowing. Don't fall into the market games, very few will sell below 4p. Only the foolish and fed up who have decided to take a loss.

Indeed as I said earlier probably shorts closing. Give it time for the MM's to have less shares and this will move up above 4p, especially once flow testing gets underway and we see the tankers coming in.

Think you need to do some research into market makers and what actually causes them to raise the bid.

I would take a guess and say that's the shorts closing and therefore buying back the shares they borrowed off the MM's. Could also be PI's going long of course at 4p.

Yanis your ramping is bull **** just like when you told me that no placing was going to occur. You owe me an apology after trying to ridicule my honest warning dog this occurring. Do agree with you that we will see above 5p in the near future as the placing investors will want it so that they can make another 25% on a placing.

But my prediction of placing “at the end of April/beginning of May” has come true. I got slated for suggesting this especially by Yanis. My long term holding is still good and I will top up here. This does not mean the water isolation has failed it’s just precautions in case it does go tits up. Glad to see an open offer as well from LL. Now we know why this struggled to get above 5.6/6p. Easy money to be made here as 4p will most likely be the bottom as it normally dips below the placing price before going up.

Barn Doors there are clear differences between the two wells. First of all Brockham was intended to be a Kimmeridge producer and HH wasn't. Therefore Brockham is expected to achieve higher flow rates and the expected increase in bopd compared to HH is also due to the area of perforation being much larger. Combined initial flows from the different Kimmeridge zones at HH were a lot higher than the current sustainable ones. Finally as I have said before Balcombe slugged at 3000 bopd initially and the Brockham well isn't completely vertical (74 degrees). Those are the facts and that's why I stick by my 500-1000 bopd prediction for sustainable flow from Brockham. Anything higher is a bonus. Hope that answers your questions and yes obviously there is some finger to the wind in these predictions.
